They were factual and direct with feedback and ways to develop better skills in a manner that maintained your confidence even when you were being hard on yourself. Always patient and personable with a great sense of humor, they were structured with the time to make sure we received every bit of education and experience offered. I'm amazed at what I learned and had the best time doing it! I left knowing my strengths, what I need to practice to keep developing my skills, and very excited to get to the DMV! They had us doing some drill that definitely got my blood pumping, but were very patient, friendly, and good at explaining what to do so that you felt empowered to try it for yourself. Although they gave us some great information, it was really the hands on practice and training that sets this place apart from your typical driver's ed school. Plus, it was really fun too! The full day course involved a mix between learning something in the trailer classroom, than going out in the cars to practice. Drills included slaloms, high speed breaking, ABS breaking techniques, tailgating drill, etc. We were given basic training about proper seating position, adjusting mirrors for blind spots, etc. Yes, this course can be expensive, but I would highly recommend it! I feel like I'm better prepared to handle emergency situations, and I've been driving for 14 years! Whether you are a seasoned driver, or just got your permit, you can learn a lot from In Control. Completion of the course awards you a certificate that can be used for insurance discounts too, which is a nice bonus.

We've been working together for months now, and the progress I've made is honestly amazing. I used to have huge anxiety when it came to driving, especially on highways. It felt like something I would never get over. But Marco was incredibly patient, kind, and full of smart, easy-to-understand tips that made everything click. He helped build my confidence one step at a time. The day I went to take my driving test, he actually came with me to the DMV and let me use his car for the test, something I really appreciated. And guess what? I passed! He's also bilingual and speaks Spanish, which is a big plus for anyone who's more comfortable learning that way. If you're looking for a driving instructor who genuinely cares and knows how to teach in a calm, clear, and encouraging way, look no further. I can't recommend him enough!

So, here's a place not a lot of people talk about. Of course, I have a feeling that's probably…read morebecause driving schools are one of those places no one Yelps about unless their experience was somehow incredibly negative. As we've recently enrolled our son into driver's ed, I felt it was high time someone gave an honest opinion about this place. Well, after you fork over the initial $800+ for this 2 month-long course, they immediately require the parents (yeah...BOTH parents, if applicable) to attend what they call a "parent's class". This is normally scheduled right before the student's first class. What this consists of is the head teacher dude pretty much explaining what the students will be learning; along with some handy tips on how not to freak out your own child trying to learn the ways of the road. Basically, "don't scream at your teen behind the wheel" type stuff. Anyways, this is a one-time meeting that lasts about an hour and a half. This felt a bit longer than necessary, but whatevs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Alright. One thing I need to get out of the way right now - I HATE their parking lot. Like, I really, REALLY hate the way this parking situation is. Let me explain. As you can already tell, this place is located smack dab in the midst of downtown Nashua; one of the most pretentious and pathetic attempts at emulating the brimming and overpriced sprawling metropolis known only as Boston that I've ever seen. This means inexorably being left with the grueling choices of either paying for parking (yuck!), shamelessly squatting in the reserved residential parking across the street, OR...driving just past the school's entrance to take two right turns and utilize the undersized parking lot located in the back of the building. It's worth mentioning this parking lot is shared, ostensibly containing approximately 6 wasted reserved spaces for...something. Oh, and be sure to take your sweet ass time maneuvering throughout this parking lot so as not to accidentally nick someone's car door. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this design is intentionally set up to "test" the students. As for the course itself, it's pretty routine, really. My son seems to have acquired the basic skills and knowledge needed to pass the state test. Which, judging from the majority of drivers around here, doesn't seem like it'd be all that difficult to pass with flying colors anyway. Now then...there are a couple other things I find quite vexing about this course. Recording driving hours: In the beginning, they let you know there's an app which allows the parent to record their teen's driving hours automatically whenever you accompany them for a driving session. Just one problem though - you can't actually submit these hours at the end of the course as proof of time driven. Nope. Instead, they STILL make you painstakingly hand jam the hours onto a physical paper copy of the driving sheet. May I ask...WHY?! What's the point of having an app that does this automatically when we can't even use it as proof of hours driven? Whoever drafted this course needs to hop in a time machine and travel forward in time to the 21st century PRONTO! Parking: I know I touched on this a bit already. But I also want to mention the incredibly tiny parking spaces, accompanied with a one-way exit (which almost everyone violates by entering into the ostensible DO NOT ENTER sign) near the street entrance. ALSO, also....the paths going around the parking lot aren't really one-way. So, when you pull around the back, you may find yourself nose-to-nose with a car coming the opposite direction as you're about to turn in like I did at least once. This parking situation is stupid, avoidable, and fixable. Just force everyone to enter and exit the same way with signs like the rest of the country streets do. It's easy! The only other caveat to be aware of is the fact that driving and observation hours are almost totally impromptu, apparently. Which means everything is subject to change, based on no-shows and whatnot. They will accommodate weekend driving though, so....that's definitely a win. But overall, this place isn't nearly as bad as the other two previous reviewers suggested. Then again, how many folks actually take the time to adequately review a driving school on Yelp? Really. I'm gonna remain fair and slightly impartial by giving Hampshire Driving School 3 adequate parking lots with proper exit and entrance signs out of 5.

My son started this daycare as a painfully shy young kid, and he has grown so much. He loves the teachers and the kids there so much, they are super responsive with us; and I love him going there as well. We also had him picked up there for his preschool regularly and was great we were able to do that. Before sending my son here we had him going in Tyngsboro, MA (which was obviously a long drive there and back) because of how picky i was with daycares- but have nothing bad to say and honestly only praise with this one. Both myself, my son and my husband will be very sad when he will be full time in school and unable to come here regularly and hope my infant will be able to come here as well.

This is not a rant, this is a lengthy letter describing a factual recent event and should be read…read morethoroughly by parents who are contemplating this school as an option. To each their own, but here is my experience: The school is ran by teachers you'll never meet, and most if not all, seem to not be actual teachers with degrees but parents filling in to help, operated by a woman who will insult your child to your face while on the front steps of the school. They will give up on your child because of their inability to discipline or educate, that was made clear right away, when I was told they don't discipline. I was concerNed to hear this when the words came out of the woman's mouth (a few months back) but since meetings or proper discussions aren't a practice of theirs (always rushed with the door barely opened) I thought, this is a temporary babysitting space my daughter seems 2 enjoy, while we wait for our school of choice to have openings. Apparently my 4 year old took out her lunch instead of her snack so this means she has cognitive issues. Careful this place is dangerous, anyone who is NOT medically trained, who does not hold a degree in psychology or a phd, has NO RIGHT TO THROW MEDICAL LABLES ON YOUR CHILD because they simply claim to speak from experience. I have been a mother for 18 years, I am however not a trained professional in psychiatry, psychology, you won't see me labeling your child's physical or mental condition... Three kids, ranging from ages 18 to 4 and I have NEVER had a "teacher, school director" handle herself the way she did yesterday; this woman was seething with rage, like an old poodle! Throwing out a diagnosis of my child, while on the front steps of the school, a rushed conversation at pick up/drop off, while other parents are dropping off their kids... (Meeting like these are handled in a professional setting/manner in private, with supporting documents/notes to go over) & If you dare challenge the woman's un-educated diagnosis be prepared to get kicked off the property with the door slammed to your face while your child is still in the school! (don't worry I immediately removed my child from the erratic woman's grip, forcing myself back into the school, while this woman is screaming for the cops to be called, scaring the children, my child and Honestly everyone else)... As an expert parent however, having sent my three kids to several different schools over the years, what I can tell you with certainty is they have no idea how to educate children and clearly the tired director with twenty years experience should go on a leave of absence, she has no business being with small children. As for curriculum, the kids' daily activities are done on scrap paper, with writings on the back, looks like they tear paper out of old books or folders (not school related) and give to the kids to scribble On. Mind you it costs $255 a week. Your kids clothes and personal belongings will always be lost, misplaced or given to another child; we are out a sleeping bag, two pairs of shoes and at least 10 sweaters, I don't have the money to replace these items. When you ask for these items you will be told to wait phtisies, as you are never allowed in the school, for them to hand you over a bunch of items not one being your childs. Super shady. Back to my main point, they don't know how to discipline or teach toddlers, they will just tell you your child is the issue if your child is rambunctious, a toddler. Your 3 1/2, 4 year old child is the issue. Here's the kicker, they will not tell you anything to lead up to these claims or diagnosis. Over the last 8 months I was told twice (at pick up on these lovely front steps, with the door half open, her wretched head sticking out) that my child was a bit "tough" today... but that's it. So Let this sink in, you could be told your child has abnormal behaviors and these should be assessed, out of the blue, while standing on the front steps of this dump whole, with other parents around, and if you dare ask questions or offer tips or challenge the behavioral diagnosis, you will be kicked off the property, door slammed in your face... My daughter is now 4, she attends two other programs (gym and play group) and these two other businesses could not believe what was said by this woman about my typical 4 year old, shocked but mostly astonished as to how this was brought up to me. This school is a dump whole, and I am riddled with guilt for leaving my baby in their care over the last 8 months! I can't stress this enough, if it doesn't feel right, even though "it must be" and your child seems happy, pull your kid out or investigate.. do your due diligence. Because she's my third, I assumed she was ok even though the school didn't seem amazing or ideal, I ignored the little red flags. Shame on me. Shame on this school for being opened
