I used City Wide via AAA because my car died and I needed the car towed to the dealer for repair. The pickup was fine; however, the driver just dropped my car at the dealer without actually handing the vehicle off to someone, AND he took the key fob with him instead of leaving it in a night deposit envelope or even in the vehicle itself. Ended up taking me more than 72 hours to get the key fob back, and because of that, repairs to the vehicle/fob still have yet to be addressed. Use at your own risk!!! read more

I used City Wide via AAA for a flat tire. I was extremely worried about waiting around for hours, etc., but Brandon arrived within 5 minutes of my call with AAA and he provided extraordinary service. He was prepared, quick, pleasant, and efficient. Once he finished, he placed my flat tire in the trunk and advised me how to properly drive while my spare is on my car. I wish I could've tipped him, but I didn't have cash. Because of Brandon, I would use this business again in a heartbeat, whether it is through AAA or not. Absolutely avoid this towing company. They're extremely UNPROFESSIONAL towing company who will hire anybody to haul your vehicle. There towers are usually somebody, anybody they could find anywhere. I have had the misfortune of dealing with this company twice and that was the last I want to see of them. They will treat your car like anything just to get it to the destination. Illegally obtaining access to the inside of your vehicle. Yanking the vehicle on the chains when lifting and removing your vehicle. Anything to get to their next pick up goes. There is a decent chance that they will break into your car if you're not present. Even if the car is locked and they have no key. They know how to get in because they have the equipment. If you have AAA ask the dispatcher/customer service BEFORE they schedule the tow to make sure it is NOT this company (they have other companies just ask). This companies drivers are extremely disrespectful because they go unchecked by their bosses and believe they will get away with anything. DO NOT leave your car unattended with them. Make sure to be at your vehicle at all times. This is a suggestion, but there are far better choices. I would avoid this company's services all together. read more

TLDR: this "company" is incompetent, it's employees are disrespectful and lacking in accountability. They turned what should have been a simple 2 mile tow into a 6 hour ordeal AND damaged my vehicle by dragging it to its destination with the emergency brake up. Avoid using them if you can. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The experience I just had was preposterous. I will be filing a tort lawsuit. My car needed to be towed to the Toyota Dealership located 1.8miles away. I called at 1:51PM and was given an ETA of 73 minutes. Toyota's service center closes at 6pm so my car needed to be dropped off before then. The driver showed up at SIX FORTY ONE PM wildly honking his horn as if he was the one being inconvenienced and had been waiting on me for 5 hours. He then proceeds to hurriedly put my car on the back of the truck ignoring me when I pointed out that the brick behind the back tire needed to be removed before he continued, so I stood there & watched my tire get damage as he hooked it up. I confirmed the destination with him and explained that because the service center was closed he would need to go to the 24hour drop off area behind the dealership- very clear instructions. I further stated that I would meet him there as I have another vehicle available to me. As I mentioned earlier he was in a rush for whatever reason so he proceeded to DRAG my car to its destination at top speed with my emergency brake up.I arrived 10 mins later & neither the tow truck nor my car was there. After 30 mins I called & explained the situation & asked "where's my car," in an understandably stern tone because of the absolute absurdity of the situation and the blatant lack of respect for my time. I was hung up on. I called back because I am not standing for such disrespect especially in a situation where they are at fault. Same guy answers the phone YELLING AND SCREAMING AT ME. I too raise my voice asking who he thinks he is talking to like that; Two can play that yelling game and guess who is better at it. I asked if there is a Yelp page for this business as well as for his name to which he responds, "why would I tell you that." He hangs up again. On a whim I decide to go look for my car at adjacent dealerships. I eventually find my TOYOTA vehicle at the CHEVROLET dealership down the street. After I found it, the same rude guy calls back, much calmer cause obviously he realized they had messed up royally. He says he got in touch with the driver & he would return in 5 min in to move my car to the correct place. 15 mins later the driver shows up and rigs my car to the tow truck. He tries to move it & it gives resistance because the emergency brake is still up, as it had been from the start of this whole saga. He points it out to me and I say "yes it has been up this entire time" he proceeds to argue with me insisting I had only just pulled it up before he got there. His exact words were, "no u just put it up. You do know that this whole truck has cameras right" the implication being that I'm lying about it and he could pull footage to prove it. Ladies and gentlemen, nobody touched the car once I located it at the Chevy dealership, I just sat in the car and waited for him to return. For those keeping count, so far we have awful customer service, disrespect & a lack of accountability at every phase. It is now 7:30PM & we finally get my car to the correct place. I inspect it and my tires are visibly damaged because my car had been dragged & God knows what else for 2 miles. I shudder to think of the other components that were damaged in this process. I ultimately made a complaint to Toyota and they opened up a case so that I can be reimbursed for the damage to my vehicle. Brandon determined that my battery was dead. It was still under warranty, but because I am disorganized, I could not find the needed paper. Several days ago, I had trouble starting my car and I called AAA, who is contracted with City Wide Towing. Kiazm was sent to take a look at my car and try and fix the issue. Kiazm tested the battery and said that the battery should be good for approximately another year. He indicated that, due to the cold weather, the car should be started and running for approximately a half hour. The next morning I woke up and, on again, my car did not start. I called AAA and this time they sent Marcus to my home. He did a fabulous job!! He took one look at the battery and could tell by the particles at the top of the battery that it was shot. He also tested the battery and he showed me the message on his phone that indicated that battery was dead. I think that Marcus deserves some praise for doing such a great job! Later that day, as well as the next day, I called City Wide Towing and left two voicemail messages requesting that a Manager call me back. Needless to say, I did not receive a phone call. This is a very poor way to run a business. As far as I'm concerned, you do not deserve to be in business. I'm very disappointed and from here on out, I will request that AAA send one of it's own employees out to help me. read more
