It's an…read moreeasy walk to the University of Lafayette at Louisiana, but you don't have to be a student there to live here...you could go to any of the vocational schools, community college or even the beauty schools located there. The only requirement is that you're a student. This place is super nice and super well-maintained. They have one, two, three and four bedroom apartments. The bedrooms are individually leased, so say you want to share an apartment with three of your friends then you can do that. Each bedroom suite is keyed and has a large bathroom and large closet and you and your roommates would share the kitchen, laundry room and dining room. The apartments come fully furnished with a tv, microwave, refrigerator, couch, table, chairs...everything everything you need it's all there. There's also a clubhouse that has a really nice swimming pool, volleyball court, workout room and a theater room. It's so nice and actually more affordable than living in the dorms at ULL. Another really great thing about this place is that it's New Orleans themed. For instance, the names of the different units are all streets in Nola. The one bedroom is named Royal, the two bedroom is Dauphine, the three bedroom is Chartres and the two layouts for the four bedroom are Toulouse and Dumaine. Cute, right?

I was denied a copy of our lease both times that we signed. I did not get a copy until the last month there when they refused to let us out of our lease and I had to get my attorney involved. We followed all of their rules to move out yet they retired to keep us there against our will. They finally read they own contact and it turned out I was right, yet they never admitted it or apologised for putting us through hell. Also the gate was always broken, so we payed extra to live in a gated community that was never actualy gated. On the upside, the grounds where very nice. We loved the pond and the two pools. The apartment where beautiful with very large rooms. But we hated living there!!

I found out thru a reliable source the complex has NO INTENTION of refunding security deposits and will nickel and dime you to death just to make certain YOU owe them instead! The front of the complex is just a dog and pony show to bring in those that are not really paying attention until it's too late.
