This is a brilliant little grocery with all the essentials and quite a bit of Asian variety…read moreavailable too, along with a small produce selection. There's a lot packed in there! It's a good choice for coffee, snacks, but also fennel, vegan food, kimchi, or eucalyptus cuttings (and, like many small grocery stores, some things are better deals than others). Importantly for the neighborhood, Bad Wife also sell live plants and flowers at very reasonable prices. In the spring and summer, they'll often have flowering plants available. I've always had great interactions with the staff here, and am a fan of the place.

Mrs. Lee refused to accept the return. She referred to a sign that read, plants are not returnable. That particular sign was displayed at at the back of the plant section, on a high shelf. Interestingly enough, at the cash register, there is a sign that states, "Refund policy provided within 2 days receipt." It is mandatory for stores to visibly display their return policy at the cash register. 'The Bad Wife' failed to do so. Mrs. Lee's attitude was rude and dismissive despite being told return policies must be clearly visible by the cash register.

I posted fairly recently about the Manhattan Wegmans (love it) and I finally made it over to the…read moreBrooklyn store a couple of times recently. It's really nice. I don't know what took me so long to get over there. Well actually, I do know. It's not at all near a subway station, which is kind of a PITA. But, despite that, it's a great store! Some aspects of the store that I like a little better than the Manhattan store: at the Brooklyn store, you can do all the shopping on one level. Manhattan/Astor Place store has some items (as well as customer checkout) on upper level, but you do most of the shopping on the lower level. The Brooklyn stores has restrooms (and a cafe space) upstairs, but the restroom situation is much more convenient - I haven't had any kind of wait at all. At the Manhattan store you're likely to be waiting for several minutes for a stall to become available. Both stores have a fabulous, very tempting bakery section, great cheese selection (and the employees seem really nice), great produce, etc. It may be a little harder to find things in the aisles at the Brooklyn store but that's probably also because it's a very large store and I'm still getting the lay of the land there. Again, I do wish there was a train station closer, but that's not the store 's fault and I've been exploring different options, including walking 12-13 minutes from a train station (York Street), buses (the B69 goes near there as well as some other bus lines), and/or short Uber rides to train stations if I have too much to carry. Going forward I'll probably be utilizing both stores as each has their own advantages!

This Wegmans is our nearest large grocery store and one of our favorites. My wife and I frequently…read morego here as they have a wide selection of food and drinks. We come here at least twice a week to get any items we need for our lunch and dinner. Some products can be a bit pricier, but the quality of anything you buy here is top-tier. The staff and workers are kind throughout.
