First time into this shop. Walk-ins only, but I entered during a slow time. Simple ambiance with linoleum floors and unadorned walls. But Joe gave me a good cut, was fast and efficient, and Connie (owner) kept the friendly conversation going. No folderol, just straight-up folks with a straight-up price of $12 - about 2/3 the price I used to pay in the big city. I'll be going back. read more

Terrible barbershop. Sign said open. Door locked. Lights out. No answer to phone call

I have been goings to CJ's for almost 10yrs and I am always happy with my hair cut. I was in the military before and so just accustomed to high-n-tight and she did me right. I am now "growing it out" some :-) and have had great cuts since then. Its just a regular Barber Shop and with the great talk, camaraderie and CJ's professionalism and barber skills you cant go wrong for the price. She is always busy and so you gotta know the best times to get there and get in the chair. Nothing fancy and if you want that then go pay much more somewhere else and I have seen ladies in the chair too. She is super nice, knows everybody's name and remembers your stories and asked about your family and work. Truly sincere and not just talking and I have always appreciated the conversation.
