Literally one of the best businesses in Grants Pass! They are always super clean which I require in a salon of any type for me. My son has gone to a few people and so have I and the team is always amazing! We also fairly simple hair with a couple aggressive cowlicks you have to be trained well to do a good cut on. They do exceptionally well always & never try do something if someone else can better. I will always always rave about Rogue Barbers!! read more

I love this place. Ronny G goes over the top with his customer service. I got the Sasquatch Deluxe that includes a straight razor and hot towels, I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep. His skill is unmatched as is his hospitality. I will defiantly go back when I'm in town. read more

Overall they give good haircuts and hot towel shaves. My one complaint is that Rogue Barbers used to be military friendly and offer a discount on services, but they recently stopped doing that. As a veteran myself, I try to support businesses that support our troops and veterans. Luckily there's still several barbers in town that do. read more

Got a haircut, requesting my hair shaped with an undercut, only to have my hair entirely butchered. Then when i became unhappy, the owner (the black one who i believe was named Ron) got real short with me and told me to hurry up with my decision and completely disregarded my thoughts on the haircut. When once I wanted my money back, he threatened to sue me for "slander" because I said i wanted to go to someone else who acted more "professional" and who could work with my curly hair better since he clearly could not (at least judging from his work on my hair). He tried to force me to write my name down for him (after threatening to sue me) and sign a paper saying I wont leave a bad review. I said no and never got my money back. Ron (if I remember the name correctly) gave terrible customer service, got easily offended when i criticized his work, and did not want to resolve the situation at all. I cant recommend anyone going there due to that incident of unprofessional attitude and customer service, despite all the claims of his many licenses and skills. read more

It used to be amazing with great barbers that i gave five stars to. The last four or so times i went in they didn't have familiar faces. The people I did see gave me horrible haircuts. That is $120 or more spent on bad to ok haircuts. I need consistency if I'm spending this much on a haircut. If I wanted a bad haircut i would go to Supercuts or similar. Great emergency haircut by Cheryl today. Found out extended family in addition to me was coming into town for an impromptu family reunion and I was looking a little shabby. Walked in and was scheduled for shortly after. Cheryl did a great job cleaning me up and got a shampoo and hot towel treatment to boot. I'm going to have to consider deferring appointments with my local barber and returning to Rogue Barbers when I am flying into the area. read more

my boyfriend and I went here last month and had our hair cut by Holly B. she was friendly and nice, but when I was trying to explain the hair I wanted, she spoke over me and tried to finish my sentences for me. I would ask for her to do something, then she would say that was a bad idea because of xyz. I just went along with it because she's a hairdresser and I'm not so I assumed she knows better than I do. And I don't know how I didn't notice it when I was getting the haircut, but she cut a part of my bangs way too short and it looks awful I'm not going to lie. it looked pretty good when it was finished but when I had got home and got an actual good look at it I started crying because I had work in the next couple days and didn't want to look so stupid. and I know I could've gone back and asked her to fix it but the way she spoke for me made me so anxious I think I'm just not gonna come back. and I thought maybe it would grow out and look better, but no. how botched it is is so obvious and it takes several minutes of messing with it to make it not look messed up. I had my photo taken for my ID soon after and I spent so much time beforehand messing with it to make it look okay for the picture, I was praying it wouldn't be visible. but it's pretty darn noticeable and I'm so embarrassed. I've lived in Oregon for about a year now and I've always been kind of wary getting my hair cut and it's hard for me to find a good Barber. My hair was getting out of hand and I searched around and really liked the reviews for this place so I took the chance and tried them out today. I am more than happy with the outcome! I don't know about you, but for me nothing is better than finding a legit Barber that you actually look forward to going back to. I found a new spot to go regularly after all of this time! The employees there are extremely nice, and the owner is a really cool guy, and knew exactly what I wanted with what little info I provided. Usually I have to wait a few days before the style grows on me, but this time I was happy with it right away! Now not only did he do a good job, but the decor is absolutely amazing. It's like a classic Barber where you'd drink bourbon and smoke cigars while waiting for your cut. Exceeded my expectations for a barber shop. New to town/area and wanted to get a fresh cut after a month long road trip out west from the east coast. I had my service with Damion, the owner. Not only was he friendly with great casual conversation, he did an amazing haircut and beard trim. Prices are great for the superb services. They have really developed a great atmosphere here, and can see myself just hanging out with friends over a casual drink and conversation. I like to think of my monthly trim and cut as a relaxing time to let loose and feel good. They offered me a bourbon and hot towel with shoulder massage. It was all very refreshing and relaxing. Additional hair product and beard oil was the perfect touch. This will be my new and permanent barber for as long as I'm in the area and highly recommend to anyone. read more

Seriously the BEST barbershop in the country!!!...well we have only been to barbers in Florida and Utah but weren't impressed. Came into the local area for a family reunion and needed a barber to cut my little guys hair. We were lucky enough to walk in and get a cut and walk out within 20 min. Skyler is amazing with kids! I have been going to Rogue Barbers for the last 3-4 years, and I've loved my experiences with Michshayla, skyler and Cheryl. However, this time I was unable to get a barber that I'm familiar with. I went with the gamble and chose a new barber for my haircut and beard trim. I explained what I wanted with my haircut style and that's not what I ended up getting at all. It was nothing crazy; I was going for a comb over and ended up walking out with a buzz cut. On top of that, my neck was not shaved with a straight razor and no hot towel was provided which is what I get every time. I was also over charged as well. No disrespect to Ron, Damion or Kathy, but I'm not sure I will be returning. I come to Rogue Barbers for the quality and great conversations! I was hoping a great hair cut. It was a worst cut I ever had. Maybe good for a punky guy! Not for a lady cut. D. Did not listen to anything I said or photos I showed. This "men's" traditional barber shop has a cool vintage vibe. I got a very good cut from Michshayla the Magnificent. I drank bourbon and left the rest to her. The gentleman barber in the next chair offered me a second drink from his stash of rye in the back. They are all very relaxed and charming. I will be back. read more

I know a lot of us have struggled to find a good barber in Grants Pass, and that being said I gave this spot a lot of leeway. I tried a few different people there and finally settled on Mashayla (UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU LET SKYLER CUT YOUR HAIR, HE'S AWFUL AT WHAT HE DOES). After finally finding someone who didn't leave me half skalped after a haircut I arranged to have a standing appointment every other Saturday. We kept this arrangement going for about the last year without issue. Fast forward to last Saturday. I come in for my appointment and am greeted with a rather puzzled look by the receptionist who informs me that my appointment has been moved to a different time because someone else wanted to book their wedding party to all get haircuts together. The idea of a group of men getting together to essentially have salon time together is another issue for another day; the real issue at hand being that you gave my appointment time away without any valid form of confirmation. Their means of confirmation was to send the same preformatted text they send before every haircut with nothing different to it besides a difference in app time. Call me dense, but it makes sense to me that if you're going to give away my agreed upon appointment time you should make some effort to let me know. How do they know they're not texting a landline?Against my better judgement I waited for my rescheduled appointment and the time comes and goes. I'm finally called up for my haircut about a half an hour past my rescheduled appointment time(mind you they set this time). Only to sit down and have the person who's been cutting my hair for a year now completely bungle the haircut. Not once did I get an apology for wasting my time and was even treated to feel that I was somehow in the wrong. This place has forever lost my business. I'll shave my head bald at home before I come back here to have my part lined up. With that said; this place is a salon, not a barbershop. read more

I use Yelp recommendations to find everything. All the 5-star ratings brought me in and now I can add my own. Cheryl cut my hair and did a great job. These are real BARBERS, and not some new hire beautician at Supercuts. The barbers are not young kids, and it's easy to have a conservation with them, unlike some 18-year old. The atmosphere is a floor show in itself and the barbers are the kind of raconteurs I love. Anyone is welcome to join the conversation. I only regret getting my hair cut in the A.M.
