The only thing I had the option to do was to go to a self checkout lane. There was a person standing there and their job was to watch me check myself out. The employee pointed at the self checkout lane and I replied, 'Seriously'? What kind of customer service is it to have an employee stand there and watch me do their job ? NO THANK YOU !! I set my groceries down on the self checkout counter and walked out of the store. I understand why stores/companies want me to do the job, but I am not going to. I don't fault the employee because they were just following their company's policy.

I saw on the website that the pharmacy had closed early so I thought I'd just get them Saturday morning instead. This morning the website says they are closed until Monday. I called customer service and they confirmed the pharmacy was closed until Monday "due to an emergency" although the rest of the store is open. They referred me to the next closest Walgreens pharmacy which is 20+ miles away. This is unacceptable to close the pharmacy without warning when people are depending upon it to receive their medications.

I use…read moreWalgreens on the regular because my bank is not local and my bank makes it easy by giving me a barcode inside the app to make deposits. I just enter the amount of the deposit and show the barcode to the employee like I do each time. This is my first visit to McPherson and I needed to make a deposit but the employees especially the guy manager made me feel uncomfortable and like I was bothering them. He gave me excuses about my deposit explaining I have a limit but I urged him to try anyway and when it worked he didn't seem happy. I wish I had more options for making cash deposits but I don't and next time I will pass using this location

Think a few sparse counters with meds, a counter, and a pharmacist. No convenience items etc. They DO have limited OTC vitamins for kids, just not what I was looking for, and granted what I was looking for was pretty specific. When I walked in they asked if I was there to pick up, so I think this place is best for locals that need to get a script filled and don't want to drive to Salina or McPherson. All of that being said, I'm so glad this is here for my family that lives here and the pharmacist was nice, it was just a lackluster visit for me.
