The prices are average, some things cost quite a bit and others are more reasonable. There's often sales on though which can be really good. They also stock seasonal things, so you can find halloween and christmas themed costumes and accessories at the appropriate times of the year. The staff here are pleasant, it's quite a small shop and can be hard to move around the displays if there are a few other customers in there too. It's a really good shop though.

Despite only being a small store, the Accessorize branch in Burnley is stocked from floor to ceiling with all sorts of pretty accessories including jewellery, hair accessories, handbags, shows, scarves etc. The prices are a little higher than other shops selling similar items but this is reflected in the quality and selection of items available. The store also has a very grown up feel about it and, although there is a limited selection of children's items, the majority of the items are expensive and tasteful enough to be for adults only. The store is well laid out with the jewellery being separated into different colours and themes. This makes it easier to find something to match your new red dress or a gift for your friend with a penchant for boho accessories since similar items are grouped together. My only qualm with Accessorize, besides perhaps the high prices, is the fact that the store is a little cramped with free standing displays as well as shelving on all the walls. At busy times, this can make browsing difficult and it would definitely be a struggle for anyone with a pram. One final thing to point out whilst I forget is the sales! Accessorize have fantastic sales with up to 70% off a wide range of items, so it's well worth stocking up if you spot a sale sign in the window as my previous bargains have included a pair of shoes for £3 and lots of jewellery items for 50p.

The clothing is usually tidy and easy to browse through. It gets really hectic if there's a sale on though, it becomes more of a jumble sale than a clothes shop! But it's worth it for the bargains. I find the clothing can be hit and miss, sometimes I find really nice things, and others I personally think look a little cheap but without the cheap price tag. This is just my personal taste though. I also found the changing rooms hard to find, they're in the mens section and I was a bit concerned I was walking towards the men's changing rooms! Luckily there are staff members that look after the area so I knew I was in the right place. Generally it's a really nice shop, with a good range of clothing for various tastes. I thought I wouldn't like the clothing, but I really do and sometimes wish I could afford to buy more things from here. They often have nice bags and purses too which make nice gifts.

The Halifax store is only a tiny little shop but they always have a lot of stuff in so it's often quite cramped in there and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a pram as you might find it a bit of a struggle! The one thing that I find really lets it down are the staff, I don't think gossiping amongst themselves while serving customers on the till is a very professional attitude to have when working in the retail industry, in fact I find it pretty rude. This isn't just a one off observation it happens every single time i'm in there.
