Think of Ollie's as a combination of Burlington, Walmart and Dollar General blended together. One thing you'll notice as you walk about the store is that most of the signage is written crudely by hand. The other sign they are famous for is "when it's gone it's gone". The store is filled with brand name and not so brand-name products at cheap prices. They have a very large book selection, lots of bedding, garden items, decor, cards, snacks, grills, pet, kitchen appliances and more. This is actually one of their smaller format stores of about 15 to 20,000 ft.². About 70% of the floor space is given over to clothing and they have three dressing rooms. This place has very little in the way of electronics and furniture. I will agree with one yelper that anything of real value is not going to hit the floor, but finds its way onto their online store or "elsewhere". They actually have very nice restrooms that do not require a key. This location is clean and well merchandised. If you're looking for clothes, you'll probably find something, but for anything else, don't be so sure.

If I bought everything new, even from Target, Walmart, or the Tanger Outlet, I would be spending half of our expendable income. With Goodwill, I love the color coded clothes because then I don't buy too much at once. They are so many awesome people there, too, and it's the best part of the Goodwill experience. For example, when my mom passed, I found out that the memory care center at a Nursing and Rehab facility she was at had more patients than they had blankets for. They wanted me to donate a family heirloom that I just couldn't part with. I said no, but I can get several gently used blankets instead of the one blanket. At, Goodwill, I asked if I was allowed to buy all the blankets on display. After explaining briefly why, they came back with several baskets and they loaded the whole lot up. People shopping were watching, and I explained it, some of them contributed to the blankets fund! I know my momma was having a ball watching this! Goodwill and Garage Sales were our favorite past time! I called my husband and told him I was going to take more time and why. He went online and got a list of the closest thrift stores. I got what I could find but Goodwill was by far the treasure trove I was seeking. So,in total, an anonymous gift of nearly 150 blankets went to several nursing facilities with and without memory care. Kerrville and Goodwill went the distance for me and for our seniors! We walked in to some smiling faces and some stressed faces (which is to be expected with this high volume of traffic). I was looking for new shoes and found a great pair of Adidas in my favorite colors. The gentleman in the shoe area showed me where they keep the disposable socks and helped me find what I was looking for. My only complaint would be I wish they had more selection in the casual wear shoes. Sporty is great, but sometimes a casual shoe is also nice to have on hand. My friend was unable to find his style. I'm sure with time selection will get better. The check out line went nice and quick, and the lady at check out was very friendly and professional. Overall, it was a great experience and looking forward to seeing how this spot will evolve.

These people are not human. Went in to return my deceased relative's phone. They would not take…read moreit and sent me on a wild goose chase to San Antonio office. They sold the deceased a Google Pixel and did not show him how to use it. He did not even know how to turn it on. He fell at home and could not notify anyone. He was found and passed 2 days later. I would give them a negative, but not an option. Traveled to San Antonio and they still would not take the phone back. He never used it. Gave me that "number" to call and no results there at all. After all that no one will take the phone back. They sent me a bill for almost 800 dollars then reported me to a collection agency. This people are criminals. STAY AWAY from these crooks!
