Tiffany R Local Guide·12 reviews…read more a minute ago New I went in for a growth on my temple. When I got there, I went to a full body scan. The first thing we Talked about was the growth on my temple. Dr. Ginger Mentz told me the growth in my temple was pre cancerous legion, and it needs freezing. She froze my what I thought was tge growth on my temple. No. I woke up with a burn in mark on my eyebrow and my legion looks like it did pre appointment. When I spoke to Lorraine, the MA, she told me My eyebrow and froze it off and that if I was concerned about anything else on my face, I need to make an appointment and come back. Lorraine was very apathetic and she was extremely unprofessional in this conversation with me. She insisted that the doctor didn't do anything wrong that there was a conversation about my eyebrow and then I need to come on, but even so the beginning of the appointment you told me I had a pre-cancerous growth on my temple. To be gaslit by the staff is awful And it took me all day to finally reach Lorraine. I called the office manager at 8:30 this morning with no callback. At one point while look e trying to reach the right staff a scheduler was unkind and apathetic. Obviously, there's a big misunderstanding about what happened. But I also know that you're supposed to mark the gross so that this doesn't happen. It's very negligent for a doctor not to mark the gross that she's concerned with. This is why people are supposed to do that. My visit was really great and awesome and I was really super happy that I thought I got this girl removed off my face. Today the next day I feel very frustrated and sad if you go to this practice, just make sure you are having an open conversation, and there's no misunderstandings. And make sure the doctors are following protocol. This could've all been avoided if there had been more communication. I will not be coming back. And I will tell everybody about this experience that I had at this practice.

I am so sad that so many reviews from Studio 27 are outdated and poor. I have now gotten botox,…read moretouch up lip filler (they allowed me to just do a 1/2 syringe while some places don't allow that), and a thread lift. I'm not sure what type of threads were used, perhaps PDO..? Apologies, I'm not certain. I can tell that Michael has a very particular sense of aesthetic, and she has a great eye for what needs to be done and how. I usually leave things up to a hair dresser, medi spa, or Nordstrom consultant etc to determine what would look best because I'm autistic and I have no semblance of keen self evaluation this is where someone like Michael can be very helpful. This was my first time getting threads and my second time getting a neuromodulator (botulinum) injection. Now the GREAT part! I was a little scared of getting threads because I'd never had em before. Michael put 2 threads on each side of my jaw line, which is where I wanted the threads. This is not a very significant amount of threads, or so I've discovered since the treatment. It's on the more "conservative" side. She used a perfect amount of local anesthetic beforehand; I have pretty thick skin, so I'm glad she used a good amount. I just closed my eyes after that and let her work. At one point, she had to use a fair amount of force to get the cannula shoved subdermally, but she had everything under control. I did feel pressure, but very little pain. As soon as i left, I went to visit with a buddy of mine (a straight, generally objective male). He was totally shocked and asked me immediately what I'd done to my face because it looked so good. He said "you don't look like a different person or anything, but you look like the best version of you. Your face that was already beautiful looks perfected. Jesus, that's impressive!" I was also totally impressed when I looked in the mirror. Everyone says that the threads cause the dermis to become fortified and tighter/less saggy/more chiseled "V line"; this is not only due to the threads mechanically pulling up the tissues, but also due to the thread ingredients' I ability to initiate collagen/elastin production. It's been a few weeks since I've had it done. It's one of the best things I've ever done for my face. it ended up looking absolutely INCREDIBLE, lifting my thick skin upwards to a fairly significant degree. This is clearly not a substitute for a face lift, or other very invasive procedures that a plastic surgeon can perform. However, I'd say it's the verrrrry next best option. I did feel like I got punched in the jaw for a few days, but hey I've had much worse pain in my life, and and it's 100% worth it. I left before and afters in the pics before us in the Amazon super cheap rendition of a 50s outfit and the after is the banned books gray shirt.

Love this salon! I recently moved to the springs and was not looking forward to the search…read more However, my first stop was Studio 27 and made an appointment with Linda. My search was over! She was fabulous! She listened my unique hair issues and gave me a great cut and color and it was well worth the money. They offer so more at this salon a great skin care line, Botox. Too much to mention. Check it out
