My health was severely compromised by their treatment on the inpatient behavioral health unit at Butler Hospital. I was sent home with them knowing full well that I would go into Neurontin withdrawal upon the next day of arriving home. I was treated at Sharon Regional Hospital where I was treated with compassion and professionalism. The psychiatrist there put me back on Seroquel and Neurontin and I have been home for more than 2 weeks now and I am doing very well. Previously, I had seen Mandy Claypoole as an outpatient. She knew that I was going through Neurontin and Seroquel withdrawal. I was told by her to not call their office anymore because I was becoming "a pest." I was very ill. Thank God for the physicians at Sharon Regional Hospital.

I stayed here when I was a teenager and going through severe depression, and all she did was scream at us patients for trivial reasons, which only made my anxiety worse. I remember her venting and ranting about a loss she had in her family, and used that as an excuse to mistreat us patients, who also had our own problems to worry about. I've lost all my grandparents, aunts and uncles, and my mother yet Ariel still acted very condescending, acting as if nobody else had ever experienced the pain/loss she did; she just yelled at us all the time and was totally arrogant and rude. I left that place feeling even worse than I had entered because of her. If you're not prepared to help young, mentally ill patients just because YOUR mental illness is "soooo much worse" maybe don't work at a mental facility. Wish I could give zero stars, absolutely horrific experience.

He's always made it a priority to stay on top of the latest research and is always willing to discuss it with me. He is very patient focused and has gone out of his way on multiple occasions to accommodate whatever various needs/requests I have.

I called immediately after an emergency regarding a reaction I had from my medication. I just switched to a new med because I felt it wasn't working and am realizing I may be allergic to both. Dr was negligent and rude. Dr also misdiagnosed me, which is evident of a lack of psychiatric knowledge. Dr said she would pull my chart and put it on her schedule with an URGENT note so that Dr can call me first thing in the morning. I CALLED AGAIN asking why she did not call me back and that I am in pain. On top of this, Dr overcharged me multiple times.

For Peter, the bad reviews were entirely accurate. He's an accuser and a gaslighter. He kept refusing to apply what I had to tell him from my medical history and just wanted to prescribe medication (no psych symptoms when not in the presence of a PTSD trigger). He told me that he felt uncomfortable treating me and that it's best if I get a second opinion. This was a total waste of money for my insurance company and a waste of time for myself. I was very emotional after the appointment because he repeatedly accused me of lying. I'm a successful business owner--likely helping more people and getting a bigger paycheck than him--just seeking professional medical help but I now have to look elsewhere. Do not recommend. Sad excuses for a human being.

I wish my sister would have been able to have her as a therapist, but since I was already her client, my sister could not become one. I've been to see 5 or 6 therapists in my life....she is THE BEST! Her office also associates with Dr. Sylvia Mendelsohn, psychiatrist, if you need meds and med. checks. Dr. Mendelsohn has no objection to you doing weekly counseling with another therapist. She is also outstanding.
