I think people would have more of an appreciation for this park if they could have seen it 10 or 15 years ago. Believe me when I say they've come a long way. The current playground is much larger, with a smaller playground for younger kids. They have also installed an active gaming system with poles in a circle. Kids can choose various games where they have to move around. Besides the playground, the walking trails are very scenic, with lots of tall trees, shrubs, creek, and even a railroad track nearby. The younger kids especially enjoying seeing the trains come by often. There are many squirrels that will likely approach you as people love to feed them. There is a seating area you can reserve and host birthday parties. Grills are also available. Right next door is another large venue where people have had weddings. They also built in two small dog parks, one for smaller sized dogs. There are two parking lots with plenty of parking. The park opens from sunrise to sunset. read more

Great place for a family reunion, kid's birthday party, or church event. They have two pavilions with nice picnic tables. Pavilions can be rented through the City of Stockbridge. Clark Community Park also has a dog park. There is an two unleashed areas: one area for big dogs over 25 pounds and for small dogs under 25 pounds. This is a total gem in Stockbridge! Peaceful, serene, and totally relaxing. I took my grandchildren there to burn off a little energy and a change of scenery amid the COVID crisis. We do live on a large lakefront property but they get bored so I decided to take them. We armed ourselves with masks and gloves and snacks and off we went. The kids quickly abandoned their masks because they had the entire place to themselves. There was a covered area which I appreciated. The restrooms were available, but we took care of that before leaving the house. Nice local park to visit while getting fresh air. read more

My dog weighs less than 25 pounds so he goes to the little dog section. The park has a little dog section and big dog section parted off which I think is pretty smart. The little dog section is so small and doesn't hardly have anything for the dogs to play with though. I bring my daughter here and she brings our dogs toys and treats and seems to have a good time. I just wish they would a lot more space and more toys for the dogs to play with. At first I thought this was a park where you can walk around with your dog but it is not it simply has a sectioned off dog space. All in all a nice spot to get out with your kids and let them enjoy their pets while having some quality time with them as well. read more

Never thought about Yelp for a park review but since I've been coming here since it opened I will Many people are posting marginal reviews because dogs are not allowed on the trail. There are plenty of people who don't want dogs out there. That's what the dog park is for. We have a dog and we just don't mix the dog park and trails. Plenty of places nearby to walk the dog. It would have been a five star but they don't allow dogs on the walking trail. I don't like that because I like to let my dog play and get him a nice long walk in too. It really stinks because the walking trail looks really nice. But it's a nice dog park. Very peaceful haven't had any troubles. Great location. Great shaded areas. Great training tools as well. BUT I wish they would change the walking trail. It doesn't make sense. I don't feel comfortable walking without my dog on a public trail. It is a sense of security. Great place to catch Pokemon! It's nice and shady with lots of great places to walk and relax. There's even a nice shady dog park there. Good place to take kids too as there is a very nice playground. read more

This park is nice and quite there is a lot of shade so working out any time of the day is awesome and there is restrooms ands park for the kids to play will b going back soon.... But they don't allow dogs so that's the down fall read more

I love this park! It seems to be where I and my dog spend the majority of our weekends when the weather is nice. They have a lot of good regulars that come often and are very good about keeping a close eye on the dogs. I threw my dog a birthday party here and we had around 20ish dogs and not one fight or trouble amongst dog or human alike. read more
