My wife stumbled on this family-owned company while searching for a different one. The owner,…read moreRichard and his wife Tammy responded to our request for a quote and gave us a sight unseen very reasonable one so we asked them to schedule us for today. They showed up with another close family friend, Pat. They had a well designed operation which used our tap water and using a reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration system, they were able to use the rinse water to air dry without any streaking on the outside windows which saved much time because they didn't have to squeegee (sic) them before replacing the screens! Smart! We have 23 exterior windows and using Richard's system, needed no ladders using his extension brush which doubled as a rinse device as well. One person took all our screens and scrubbed and rinsed and dried them before putting them back up. The inside work also was superlative as they thoroughly scrubbed the sills beautifully clean. What I'm trying to convey is that they took great pride in their work and even scraped some paint overspray off several windows which I hadn't expected. Philpot was hired to move someone in my neighborhood and sent a full-sized semi. The semi was too…read morelarge to navigate the neighborhood's roads but rather than finding an alternate method (like parking nearby and shuttling items to the semi) like many other moving companies have done, they decided to push forward, drive through yards while performing wide turns, and tearing up parts of the neighborhood. I watched them drive through my yard, leaving a large rut. While driving down to the house they were moving to discuss it with them, I passed other much larger ruts they created. When I asked them about fixing my yard they asked to see it. They followed me back to my house and made it clear that they had no interest in fixing it and that I should just deal with it. They took down my info and promised to call me before they left but lied about that and never called. Philpot clearly doesn't care whether they tear up other peoples' property. A quick look at Google Maps could have told them that they wouldn't be able to get through the neighborhood's roads with a full sized semi.
