worst tattoo experience i've ever had. piercer was piercing over scar tissue and realize he had the wrong sized piercing jewelry right after piercing me. then continued to go get the jewelry and sanitize it all while the needle was still in me and by the time he got that done, i was so swollen that he couldn't get the jewelry in. then he proceeded to stick a TOOTHPICK of LUBE down my freshly pierced scare tissue hole and shove the piercing in there after lubricating it. he's said this has happened before too when he got the size wrong! i don't know how you can do that multiple times and still be a professional. would NOT recommend i was crying literal tears and he had no sympathy and almost seemed irritated at ME?! read more

Radar was a jerk, clearly didn't want to be doing tattoos, and did a terrible job. All he had to do we're 8 numbers all in all probably a two inch by two inch tattoo. Its blotchy the numbers have gaps in them and it's blown out. For yalls prices I expected much better in customer service and in the art. I, along with my husband, decided to get some new ink in celebration of recently reaching ten years of marriage. We both knew we wanted the date of our marriage in Roman numeral format, but we also wanted to get a splash of watercolor behind the Roman numerals. I stumbled across Brittany (@brittuggtattoo) on Instagram and she's seemed to be water color tattoo pro. After following her and seeing her work is consistently dope, I knew we wanted her to do our tattoos. Last Sunday, we stopped by Classic 13 to see if Brittany could take us as walk-ins. She couldn't because she works Wednesday through Saturday. I reached out to Brittany via Instagram and scheduled a consultation for this past Thursday and the tattoo appointment for yesterday (Saturday). At our consultation, we discussed the design we wanted and paid a $50 deposit. We were quoted a price for our tattoos that was reasonable. Our tattoos actually ended up being a little less than what was quoted because of the size and font we ultimately decided on. At our appointment (which started on time), Brittany was professional and super nice! We had a great conversation while she tattooed my husband and then me. The tattoo studio was very sanitary and I felt comfortable in the location. We got the tattoos on the underside of our upper arms, which is a tender spot, but it wasn't too bad pain wise. Brittany went over how to care for our tattoos and told us if we needed her, just call the shop or message her on Instagram. She also said if the dealing process caused us to need a touch up, let her know and she'll handle it for us. I'm confident this will heal well! I'll try to remember to come back and post a picture of our healed tattoos next month. I would definitely come back to Classic 13 to get another tattoo or even try a new piercing. read more

Because of my advanced age, the two artists Scott & Marcos walked me through the reasons they felt I should NOT get the tattoo I really wanted. I'll admit I was disappointed, HOWEVER, after thinking about it, I realized they were watching out for my safety and health. Went in for 2 simple and small lineart tattoos and had a guy named Chip who was the most rude and condescending person I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. So, last year back in May I went to claires () to get my mid cartilage done (you can probably see the previous hole in the photo) and long story short my ear rejected the 14K white gold stud that was used and my cartilage was in complete shock from the piercing gun due to me having very sensitive skin. On May 27 of this year I decided to get it done once more but by a professional!! I researched a lot and I found that Classic 13 was the best place to go so that's where I went. I originally wanted my mid cartilage done again but Logan (the piercer) explained to me that I could be at a higher risk of infection due to the placement and the earring running against the flap of my ear. I wasn't bummed or anything, I was just nervous about going up any higher because I wear glasses lol. Classic 13 is SO CLEAN!!! Logan's piercing station was very clean and everything had a place. They have a wide selection of jewelry for any kind of piercing. My piercing was very quick and easy and it was only 50 dollars plus the 11 for the after care solution. I only got one done because I wanted to see if it would heal correctly, so far it has been amazing so next year around this time I can't wait to get my other one done!! Heard they were the best in town. I called to see if I could make an appointment and couldn't over the phone. That's reasonable. However, I was told that they opened at 11 on Saturdays if I wanted to do a walk-in. Got here right at 11 and called to see if they could open the doors. The guy who answered, the owner of the shop, said that they don't open until 12. I told him that I was not sure who I talked to, and he then tricked me into answering the question. Then proceeded to argue with me that none of his employees would say that and I am in the wrong. If I am the owner of a company and proceed to get into an argument with a new, potential customer about how the customer was wrong, just because of a misunderstanding of times, I would never want to even meet him. In case you haven't heard the customer is always right. If it's not something you can fix, just simply apologize for inconvenience and try and see what you can do to gain the new clients trust again. read more

Such a great experience. I had been very hesitant, not about getting a tattoo or the pain, but who would be doing it and if the tattoo artists would be judgey with such a simple and probably popular tattoo. This worry could not have been farther from the truth! Spacious, clean, comfortable place and they truly care. If you don't have issues, it's great but if you do, I wouldn't necessarily recommend and here's why. So, my friend and I went to get a tragus piercing on 11/4/21 with Logan who is the only piercer in this shop. The experience was quick and painless and the shop was exceptionally clean. He told us if we had any problems with our piercings to come back to see him. However, on 11/17, my piercing fell out. I called the shop immediately but was informed he would not be back until the following day. I returned to the shop on 11/18 as soon as they opened at 12pm, to get assistance putting it back in. Logan tried to insert the needle but the hole closed that quickly (around 16 hours later from the time it came out). He advised me that he would have to re-pierce it but I needed to wait 2-3 weeks for it to heal from the inside before he could do so. We did not discuss my having to pay again at this time as I assumed and he insinuated that he would fix the problem for me at no cost. Mind you, my friend who got the same piercing as I did on 11/4, also had an issue with her piercing and earring. When we returned on 11/17, he fixed her issue in addition to providing her a brand new earring at no additional charge. I returned on 12/10 prepared to have this issue resolved but was informed by Logan that I would have to pay AGAIN for the jewelry (which ranged from $40 and up) as if it was a new piercing. I explained in detail our previous conversation from 11/17 and he informed me that he was not at fault and the jewelry was (although the back coming off the earring, causing it to fall out, would be an issue potentially caused by the person who put the earring in, correct?). I paid $50 for the initial service including the jewelry (which was a more costly earring of which he told me on 11/17 he could not reuse when re-piercing in 2-3 weeks). He did not offer a discount or any other feasible resolution other than I would have to pay again for the jewelry at a cost of minimum $40. Although the initial experience was great, my follow-ups were not. I'm disappointed and saddened to be out of $50 for a piercing that I do not have and an earring that I can do nothing with.
