However, they don't reveal costs up front and I paid an arm and a leg and I didn't even itemize! I had 2 simple W2s and one 1099, but I am not a business owner, i simply worked remote. They still charged me for taxes as a business owner who could/should have itemized. I know in a smaller town choices are more slim, but i would absolutely recommend making a call or two first and getting a proce quote. I paid H&R more than what I owed in State taxes!
