The second I looked them up on Angi. Someone called me and the ball was rolling instantly. I communicated with Allison and she kept me up-to-date on everything and let me know when one of the guys was coming out. A fantastic, friendly and easy person to work with. Jeremy was the first one to come, and he was very personable and seemed genuine from the second he came in. He offered us different options, gave us some opinions, but ultimately left it up to us. When we asked about the chances of it being put in before Thanksgiving, he said he felt very good about it, could not promise anything, but would do his very best. The carpet was just installed today and it looks amazing. Chris is the one who came out to make sure everything was measured the way we wanted how much carpet vs floor would show. He did the installation. Promptly here at 10:00 am. He was beyond incredible. Not only did he once more walk us through everything before he started, but he fixed a small issue we have been having with our top step where there is a decent gap between the stair and the wood, We have not been able to fix it. He said he could take a look at it for us and he fixed it. Then on his own without any asking he went and re-glued some of our spindles that were just loose. When you would walk down the stairs, they would make a little rattling sound, but he fixed that for us on his own time. I would recommend them 100%. They were spot on, great communicators, very personable and did a fantastic job.

Once the floor was ready to go in, Rob the flooring manager came out to go over how things would work and to make sure that the product got delivered. On the day of installation I met Brian, who was the installer. After removing the carpet Brian realized that there were some issues with the wood floor underneath. Rob came out again and the two of them came up with a plan. Once Rob left, Brian was on it! He was not only incredibly nice, he was professional, efficient, and fast. He cared so much about making sure the job was not only done right, but was done in a way that would make me happy. In this day and age, good help is hard to find and keep, but it looks like they have found a way to do it. My husband and I love our new floor and we would recommend All Surface and Flooring to any looking for a quality job.

Great floors in our new home - hardwood and carpet!…read more We first met Ambassador a couple summers ago, at the St. Jude's home for 2017, in Cottleville. They provided the flooring for that home, which was raffled off. We planned to get the same laminate floors for the basement at our previous residence, then moved, so we worked with Ambassador on the existing home we moved into. The new home has nice hardwood floors upstairs, with carpet in the living room and home office. The hardwood is thankfully in good shape. The carpet in the living room was ok, but had some marks and definitely had wear from the previous owners' furniture. The home office was a different story... many marks on the floor from use and furniture. We initially planned to just replace the carpet, but then our daughter realized that the pool table we were thinking of getting would fit better in the home office than in the basement. And thanks to her ingenuity we did just that... and Ambassador got us the hardwood for the home office that is now our pool table / table tennis room. Eric was a nice help on this effort, visiting our house in person to show us the wood and carpet options, measuring, and making sure everything was installed well an on-time. The installation crew was very skilled; they completed the work with minimal impact on the house, cleaned up, and took the old carpet away for us. For the carpet, the installers did something I can't quite explain properly, but the carpet is situated jut a bit over the top of the wood... a very nice look that also prevents the chance of bumping toes on the wood where it meets the carpet. NICE The hardwood looks great... it is definitely a different manufacturer than the original wood, but it matches really nicely... officially a slightly different color and a step-up on quality... it makes the pool table / table tennis room look really really nice. Too many options and no way to dig them all out. We had to find what we wanted pretty much on our own. We had to ask all the questions. People wandering around. No management around, just people scurrying about with papers. Where is the family-owned team that celebrates the customer? 10 weeks to get a floor? Really? That's like the doctor will see you in 5 months. Chaotic IT systems and bids, built to serve Ambassador, not us. Administrative mistakes we had to catch on our own. Not a value. We paid Rolls Royce money for their product. The experience was disappointing over all. To management: your field people are awesome. Please clean up your act in the office. Your service made us feel like the health care system: designed by the company for the company while the customer is the meat in the grinder. For a company with your history and the price you charge, please do better. And one more thing. This is one of those companies that will charge you if you use a charge card. Their win, your loss. Unfortunately it feels like it's all about them.

They took a lunch break and left each day by 3pm! One day, I saw that they were using my extension cord that they'd taken from my garage without asking! Umm bring your own equipment please or at least ask to borrow. Only one of them could speak broken English. They were scared of my dog so I HAD to be home while they were working. It was ridiculous. Their drywall skills were pathetic and tape and muddying looked like my preschool kids did it. When I would show Rick their shoddy work he would had them correct it but it was over and over and over. Their paint work was poor. Parts of the floor tile had to be removed and replaced. We found The ductwork was left unhooked up and ceiling tiles right over unfinished ductwork. I would not recommend and I will never use again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they hire non English speaking men who do do not know how to do interior construction work. Egress window leaked too
