The device came i plugged it into the vehicle, and nothing happened, the tuner wouldn't read the car. I called customer support and they asked me to try it again with them on the phone so I did and this time the car started to do funny things. Door locks locking and unlocking and the dash lights were doing strange things. Come to find out the tuner they sent was for a newer car. This company has a no return pol8cy for tuners and at first didn't want to return the product but eventually agreed to and said I would get an rma. The rma never came and got a couple weeks I emailed them and never got a response. Eventually I gave up. Fast forward 10 months and I wanted to try again, got ahold of customer service, they saw my original ticket and said I could update my device and it wouId work. Did the update and it had the same issue. Called customer service, got handed around and put on hold several times for over 20 min each time then, after the sales rep argued over the phone with me about how long i had the unit, was told my unit was to old and there was nothing they could do. I payed almost $700 for a tuner that never worked and this company wouldn't even back their product. ​purchased 8/12/2025 asked for help the second time 6/28/2026 not even a year. $700 paperweight out of the box and they wouldn't support their own product.

He tried to tell me I was past my 18 month warranty when in fact I still had 29 days left on it. Then he had to test the battery just to make sure it was dead. Dude, why would I bring the battery here if it still had juice in it? Then I tried to ask about any additional warranties for the new battery and his response to that was abrasive and rude. Never gave me eye contact and when I said Thank you and I hope you have a nice day the asshole didn't even say anything back. But the gentlemen in front of me he helped prior he was polite as hell too. FYI I am a African American man and these are Caucasians who treated me this way at this location.

As you walk to the prominent service counter you notice a comforting odor of WD40 and engine oil, think of it as a sign. These guys get straight to the point, provide insight and help on questions you have, often everything you need in stock by a quality brand and at competitive pricing. What sends this place over the top is in the back though. There you'll find one of the most competent and speedy machine shops you'll ever have need of. Swap out some bushings? Ten minutes. New wheel bearings pressed in? Overnight. The machine shop alone is reason enough to frequent Hastings.
