The gold standard of a funeral home. I have unfortunately been here more than I would like and this past year for my own father. Many community members remember Bob Lucas. His son Brian has carried on this business with such compassion and professionalism. There is a respectful and peaceful feeling to every funeral and showing I have been witness to here. They don't forget about you once the casket has been lowered into the ground either. We have received follow up cards and they are open to calls if you have questions afterwards. read more

My mother and father lived in a retirement community near Oakmont, while my siblings and I are scattered in various places around the US. Mark, Melissa and Megan walked us through the required paperwork (including creating and publishing an obituary in the newspapers), coordinating with the church for a funeral religious service, and the cemetery for the internment. The visitation was well done prior to the church service, and a funeral procession afterwards to the cemetery was seamless. They even helped us by arranging for a military color guard for my father's (a US Air Force veteran) burial. My family is very grateful for their professional and compassionate service.

Holten came out and I explained what was going on with the basement bathroom. We walked around talking about different way to figure out what was causing the smell and he "I'm going to just walk around and check things out" within 1 minute he yelled out "found it". Under the sink in the bathroom and vent check valve was missing. The contractor plumber never installed it when the house was built 2 years ago. He said he could fix it right now and gave a very reasonable price. I said go ahead and within 30 minutes he had fixed a problem I had been dealing with for the last two years. He was very knowledgeable and even found a pipe that was not glued when he was installing the valve and fixed that as well I would highly recommend this business for their expertise and value for what they do. I added them in my phone as the first business to call for my plumbing needs.

A very unfriendly place, it's s their way or the highway attitude, Also they don't t care about Veterans metals being displayed or honoring them for their accomplishments. They cared more about the legality of laws and not the person appearance at the service. Robert Lucas is a very difference and cold person his father Brian Lucas the exact opposite.
