We had him cremated so we could bring him back home to Denver but I wanted to say goodbye first. Michael's warm, caring, loving energy made us feel so comfortable in doing so. He went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out. We only payed 1700.00 dollars with I believe 12 death certificates, viewing and cremation. The other place we called wanted almost 4,000 dollars without death certificates. At one of your most valuable and hardest times in life, trying to make decisions out of the blue with no clue is difficult. Michael made it so simple and just purely beautiful for my last viewing of my dad. I'm truly grateful we were led to him and this funeral service. Events must be conveyed to bereaved individuals in a thorough and specific manner. This led to much confusion and stress for me. My husband had a grey/black mustache which became a black smudge for his viewing. I could understand if there was an accident but just be honest. Slater's as whole was good BUT the Funeral Director needs to find another career choice. Simply believe he has been doing this for 30 plus years and lacks empathy and common courtesy when interaction with his customers. Truly truly a sad state.

This made things very easy for me and my siblings. My dad passed at home but my mother passed out of state. We really did not know what to do with the passing out of state.
