They did not meet their stated completion date and we had to move in with construction going on for another couple of months! The project start date was delayed two months as well. Some of their work was done well but other things were not, and we requested them to be corrected when significant. When they were nearly finished, they started balking at correcting errors and demanding more money, and that is when we stopped the project with a few tasks left uncompleted. He then replaced ugly carpeting on two sets of stairs and replaced hardwood stairs. This included staining and and putting two coats of polyurethane on the stairs.
