I contacted Gage about designing and constructing stairs to our second floor and creating a rec room, half bath and storage room. Due to the demolition required to build the stairs, we asked if they could begin that process when we left for an 8 day vacation in January. He agreed and after meetings to tighten up the design and engage his plumber we trusted our home to Gage and his team and left. Before we left he told us he not only planned on building the stairs but basically completing the entire job! While we were gone we got consistent updates, pictures and videos of the progress. When we got back the job was 99% complete. He gave us time to figure out if there were any adjustments to make and took care of our requests. They do good work on an aggressive schedule. Gage and his crew at KCM were very professional and did a great job repairing our deck. Gage was responsive during planning, going onsite to evaluate the work needed, and keeping open communication about materials and timelines. We agreed on a realistic budget, and Gage scheduled the work around our availability. His team took great care during the repair, shoring up structures and making improvements to the deck's structural integrity, all within the agreed-to budget and timeline. My experience is slightly different when it comes to KCM Construction. Gage, offered his help just because he realized there was someone in need. In the beginning of March of 2024 it had began to seem like spring was in the air and our yard was cleaned and out went the basketball hoop that borderlines our property so, the neighborhood kids have a safe place to play in the neighborhood. But nature sent another storm and the hoop was smashed during the Ice and rain storms of March. I posted a story about how long the kids had been playing on that hoop and how much the would miss it. And Gage, must have read the story and offered to donate a brand new hoop as a replacement. I now have the hoop outside my home in the spot it has been for 12 years and I want to thank Gage of KCM Construction for this generous donation for children he is yet to meet or know..
