We have 4 kids, and they have church for the kids, not just childcare! The pastors and leaders here are outstanding. There is plenty of parking, a huge outdoor area with coffee on the way in. The church is bible centric, values the presence of God and the Holy Spirit and yet they are down to earth and fun. Service starts at 10am and there is a youth group that meets during the service. Their band, The Way, is amazing. Very upbeat music accompanied with guitars, drums and keyboard. Words to songs are cast on large monitors and they are still doing hybrid service on zoom and FB live. I highly recommend in-person. They are tracking everyone that comes in via a sign in sheet. Communion is taken every week. They have transitioned back to serving the elements. Gluten free rice crackers, grape juice in plastic cups. If you prefer, they have the "instant" communion which is juice and a cracker sealed together. They have a long history of building homes in Mexico but that isn't currently happening due to the pandemic and the climate in Mexico. Regardless the church supports Amor Ministries in other ways. I've been on a mission myself and our children have gone several times. If you are looking for a new spiritual home, check this place out.

All I needed was to turn in a form because I will be sponsoring my dustier god daughter for her confirmation in February. I don't come to this church every single Sunday due to personal reasons. Now because I'm not "registered" and because I live in Antioch, "I don't belong to this church". I've never felt so belittled and offended. It's like the doors to this church are completely closed for me. I'm honestly very disappointed. My son got baptized there when he was one and didn't have any issues until now. With only 4 months left, the pastor Dt Bonnie's has now and the Liturgy staff member Anthony refused me the hosts. Both demanded he attend mass if he wanted to recrivr the Nlesdrd Sacrament. His cancer progressed to his vomiting blood all over the bed and bedroom rug. He was rushed to a John Muir and there for 10 days. Fathers then insisted I come everyday to mass to bring my husband a host. I explained we had no kids and my family was all dead I was his sole caregiver. I couldn't leave him. Fathers and Anthony said no, no. A former Superior at SAN Damiano then and still now pastor of a church in Buodby Sweden told me see Father Fred at Dt Mary's. Guess what he was great. The Blessed sacrament was always waiting for me every Tuesday at 10 Am. Fr Fred with his kindness made it possible for Don have Jesus with him everyday including the morning of 12/9. He died that afternoon. If any of you have a problem with the staff , don't register your complaint at the Cathederal Ofgivr with a Fr Steve Young a real smart alleviate. I know longer belong to this parish. I was very active and so was my husband. I hope God punished ur pastor for this. He isn't a priests priest like Richard Mangini and David Lawrence.

Unfortunately that's not the case. A recent service showed that the pastor is using his pulpit to express his rather one sided political views. Thus both the lead pastor and associate pastors decided to focus, not on biblical teachings, but their own somewhat uniformed worldly views. It would be best to remember that Jesus refused to get into politics. He disappointed those who wanted him to lead a "revolution" against the ruling power: Rome. This church seems not to follow Jesus' example. It is eager to follow popular worldly trends rather than the Bible. Unfortunate given that they have nice facilities and location. But this type of world driven unbiblical claptrap is why "mainstream" Christian churches are losing members while Bible based ones are growing.
