Making an appointment with his reception is a major effort! The reception will call your emergency contact for the slightest reason at any time. They rang my dear old mum at 8am to change my time as my phone was out of range for 10 mins going to my appointment. Don't bother calling as if his dental nurse pulls a sicky then he pulls his receptionist in and to hell with your call! You'd think at 300 a half hour which seems to be his minimum rate he would call an agency and shell out 300(half an hours work) to get a receptionist for a day. All this guy is interested in is how quickly he can become a multi-millionaire. GIVE THIS GUY A BIG MISS OR YOU WILL BE BROKE AND SORRY!

It's run out of a house in a residential Brunswick neighbourhood, and from the moment you step inside you can tell that it's a different kind of dental practice. Dr Helen Arabatzis and her staff are caring, friendly and professional and will do everything they can to make you feel at ease. They practice a 'less is more' philosophy with a focus on prevention, and will not insist on invasive dental work unless it is absolutely necessary. Eg, I had a few smallish spots of decay that another dentist had insisted required fillings (and the cost of several hundred dollars), but Dr Arabatzis said that it would be better to monitor them and put in some sealants to prevent further decay. Two years later, they haven't changed, and I still haven't needed fillings. Hooray! Let's face it, going to the dentist isn't something anyone looks forward to. But with their laid-back family practice vibe, fantastic facilities, and patient-first treatment practices, Brunswick Family Dental is as good as it gets!

The dentist I didn't see for that long, but he was very straight forward and approachable, I will have a better feeling when I get my xrays next time. My hygenist was young, friendly and did a good job on being gentle even with the sonic teeth cleaner thing. As a first time patient you get a nice candle ( I know, it was a little weird but hey a nice free candle is always appreciated) a bunch of travel toothpaste, gum and other stuff. Overall I was exteremly satisfied, the only thing I can complain about is that it felt *slightly* rushed. Maybe because the office, which is in two seperate parts of the building was larger and had more staff than I have been used to. I am very happy with this ultra modern dentist and felt like they hire friendly knowledgeable people. Time will tell if it continues to refine its services or if it declines and tries to pump as many people as possible through its doors. I am hoping for the former.

The dentist was lovely, even if he did break my heart by telling me that grazing may be the best thing for your waistline, but the worst thing for your teeth. Darn decay. He was constantly checking in throughout the procedure making sure I was still comfortable, which was very reassuring. I was happy with the work, it was expensive like all dentists are, but would definitely recommend them.

Dr Paul has a very good knowledge of his work and has a good relaxed attitude. His relaxed attitude helps to relax patient like me and most importantly - painless treatment. I generally go to Highpoint Dental Clinic, because I know I can usually make an appointment for within a week of when I want to go. The dentists are nice, the reception staff are friendly and seem pretty competent ( good with appointments and billing). Magazines in the waiting room are old, but I guess thats not really what you go to the dentist for huh......Oh and most importantly, I never dread coming here. That might change if I ever need a tooth pulled... Gulp.
