Professor Mark Sausser and his daughter Taylor offer quality instruction, multiple class options, and affordable pricing. Classes are structured with weekly progression, and live sparring at the end. The other students are respectful and helpful. The gym is a family, both at class, competitions, and outside. While small, the facility is clean and there is adequate training space. There are two restrooms, but no showers. Parking in the back is limited.

In addition to yoga and female self defense classes, they're the only certified Gracie Jui Jitsu gym around; there are even photos of the owners/instructors with Grand Master Rorion taken in the gym. They run unlimited membership trial specials ranging from 10-14 days at no cost, including a uniform! Our son has been enrolled in "Gracie Bulleyproof" since Oct 2017 and he loves it; though he's small for his age, we like that Gracie has structured rules of engagement, first focusing on avoiding altercations then preparing him how to diffuse situations and defend himself as a last resort. The non-striking aspect was key, especially since he's likely to "practice" on his younger boy-so-littler brother. All of his instructors really care about the kids and take time to teach/demonstrate on their levels of understanding and experience. Our son's favorite is Bernardo, who just happens to be from Brazil! The gym does a great job of making you feel like a member of a family while also valuing you as a paying customer. Going out of town for a long period of time? They've allowed us to freeze our membership without ridicule! Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming they make you feel like part of the team right away. The facility is clean and well maintained and you can tell they take pride in their space. Starting in 2026 they'll be introducing a dress code so everyone trains in the same uniform which I think is a great idea to build unity. Each class is about an hour long and for adults there's a sparring session afterward at no extra cost just people helping each other improve. Coach Tyler is an expert in jiu jitsu and an experienced instructor, planning weekly lessons and breaking down techniques in ways that hold the kids' attention spans and reinforce what they have learned. He knows exactly when to encourage a kid to push harder and when to redirect to a different approach. The price is extremely reasonable ($125/month), especially with the discount on a six-month contract (down to $100/month). For that price, the kids have daily hour-long classes (Monday through Friday, 5-6pm) available to them, plus open mat time on Saturday (12-2pm) and Sunday (10am-1pm) and a 2-hour advanced kids' class on Saturday (2-4pm). I have also joined the adult class and received a family contract discount, bringing the total for the two of us to $175/month.
