Stanley Pools is…read morethe local family company we would choose over and over again.   We knew that we wanted to have a pool ready by the spring, so we started the process of getting quotes from various companies in October. Based on a strong recommendation of a trusted friend and colleague, Stanley Pools was high on our list. After getting quotes, they were our top choice!   We have been impressed with the entire Stanley team since the very beginning. We were under contract in November and it kicked off the same day with the permit submission. The most remarkable part of this process was the actual construction, including a full screened enclosure: it started on January 5 and we had water in the pool on February 10! From beginning to "pool school" where it was all wrapped up was well under two months - incredible! Every single person we met and interacted with were kind, personable, and respectful of our home.   Now, we have the perfect backyard oasis to make memories for years to come! Thanks, Stanley!

I only have one comment, not really a complaint, it would be very nice if the technicians would photograph all of the data tags on the equipment before it is installed at break your back, get down on your knees level and try to read the serial numbers for the warranty registration before the unit is installed. The pics could then be emailed to the customer and/or kept in the customer's electronic file at the Stanley office for future reference. Just a suggestion.

Different new young strangers walking straight through our screened-in living room and TV area, propping the door wide open and leaving it that way. One time they left the door open long enough for our pet to escape into the alligator-filled river in our backyard. Another visit, they serviced the filter but never put the top back on. The lid blew off like a rocket, could've taken someone's head off, and our pool nearly drained completely. That caused thousands in damage, and they never paid a dime. We got a half a** apology at Best. In writing. The previous owner of my home had just replaced the pump, but almost immediately they came back saying I needed to replace it again. Then within a couple months they insisted I had to replace the light too. I can't even count how many thousands of dollars I gave them, only to end up with even more thousands in damage they caused and refused to fix. We finally switched to Tropical Pools, and they've been awesome. If you're looking for pool service, stay far away from Golden Eagle."

When the technician finally did show up, he refused to service the pool and left. I left a honest, negative review about my experience on Google and Josh Fletcher has been calling, texting, threatening me, leaving negative fake reviews on my husbands inactive business page. The harassment is extreme from an established business. I will not remove my review because everyone needs to know who they are potentially dealing with. Do not hire this company.

I am a landlord living in California with my rental property in Orange Park, FL, so needless to say peace of mind with a company is exactly what I want. The start up initial appointment was wonderful, Donald was very communicative through email and phone call. Fast forward two months and I receive a long text message from my tenants informing me the pool service has not been there in two months (my tenants are retired so they are home all day everyday to see that nobody has shown up) Thankfully my tenants were able to tend to the pool themselves although they should not have to seeing as a portion of their rent is meant to be spent on pool service. My tenant informs me she has called multiple times with no response, and I myself also have not received a response email to a chemical question from over a month ago (I assumed business & email is checked less than phone calls). So i call this afternoon to no response, I search vigorously online in search for another phone number other than Donald's cell phone.... nothing. Google reviews confirm my fears that many of his other customers have been "ghosted" while blinding paying for services that were not completed or done whatsoever. With no contact information available I am now forced to open a dispute fraudulent investigation against Donald Eldridge and OP Pool Services to get my $250 refunded back to me for the last two months of service not completed. Regardless of the reason for this company "ghosting" it is absolutely unacceptable for a company of 35 years to not inform it's customers of changes made resulting in services not completed. Not like you will be able to get ahold of anyone, but DO NOT sign up for this company's services. And if you have experienced this same problem I suggest you open up the dispute for any charges with your bank to get a refund because it doesn't look like this company has any plan to refund its customers.

Pinch A Penny started servicing my pool about 8 weeks ago, and in that short amount of time they completely destroyed the condition of it. My pool is now full of algae, debris, and the water chemistry is completely out of balance. Today I had another pool company inspect everything after firing them, and they confirmed the chemicals were severely neglected and improperly maintained. On top of that, they refused to handle basic filter maintenance and other important pool equipment services that any competent pool company should be addressing. The worst part is that their crew damaged several tiles around our pool area while using their vacuum equipment and never bothered to tell us. We only discovered it after one of my kids nearly injured himself when his leg got stuck in the hole they left behind. And of course, their customer service was just as terrible as the actual pool service. Every time I called, they were rude, dismissive, and completely uncooperative. Instead of taking responsibility for the damage and poor maintenance, they denied everything and eventually just hung up on me during the call. This company was a complete waste of time and money, and honestly a safety hazard. I'm posting this so other homeowners don't go through the same frustration, expense, and risk that we did.
