He's done removal for twice at 2 different properties. He guarantees removal, with free "check-ups" to ensure that all the poison ivy has been removed which is great. One of the reasons I enjoy their service is that you can dial up or down the level of hands-on attention you want. If you just want produce fresh from your backyard GCG can be hired to survey, install, plant, maintain & harvest your veggies without you having to lift a finger. They offer weekly and/or monthly garden maintenance by one of their traveling gardeners. Like invisible gnomes they'll show up to do stuff and you'll likely never know they were there -- as when we realized one morning that we had two new potato growing bins that had magically attached themselves to our garden. For people who want to do it all themselves they'll install the bed and provide a "self farming course" that will set you up to maintain the system on your own. I fall somewhere in the middle - I wanted a lot of hands-on help and attention in the beginning since I don't know anything about gardening but my overall desire is to gradually switch to doing everything on our own. GCG has been great about this for our 4x8 garden bed. They've been great to work with and are nerd-friendly - I was very interested in the cool drip irrigation system they installed and we ended up having a long chat about solar powered pumps, wireless moisture sensing gear and all sorts of random stuff. My long term intention is to capture water with rain barrels and use solar power pumps to move the water through the drip system -- not because I'm some hippy organic gardener but (honestly) because setting up the techy stuff seems like it would be a lot of fun. GCG humored me without mocking me to my face, heh.
