They're very good, and if you ask nicely, they can have your clothes ready late the next day. They're not as cheap as "low cost" cleaners like the one on Oberkampf near Richard Lenoir, but the prices are OK. read more

If you need soap tablets, you type in the number on the pay machine of the soap dispenser machine and then put in 1-2 Euros and the soap machine will drop a packet with two soap tablets in it. The numbers are on the washers and dryers so whichever machine you need to start or add time to, you just type the number in the pay machine and it will either start the washer or add time to your dryer. I thought the wash machines went forever but we did pick the colors options which was like 50 mins or so. The dryers are very hot and actually dry very fast. The laundromat can get kind of crowded though as there are more washers than dryers. People will take your clothes out of the dryer if they are done, so be sure to be back at the laundromat before your clothes are dry if you don't like other people handling your clothes. Overall, it was only about $4 Euros to wash and a few Euros to dry. Don't worry about exact change as the pay machine gives change. It was perfect for those who are backpacking/travelling around Europe if you don't want to wash your clothes in a sink somewhere.

Not too pricey, and definitely washing machines that were large enough to do some rather big loads (as is the case when I end up travelling around for an extended period). If you are near Gare du Norde (or Est) and need to get some laundry done, this is a great…read morelaundromat to do it in. It's not exactly the cheapest place to do laundry on the planet, but the machines function well and are clean, the inside is comfortable enough to wait for your clothes to be done, and the hours are good. For the average traveler, the "7kg" machine for 4 euros (around $4.50) is probably more than enough space for a suitcase full of clothing. Depending on whether you have the ability to hang up clothing in your hostel/hotel, your drying needs might vary, but I was able to get my clothes mostly dry for another 3 euros. Along with soap, that's about $10 for a full load. I would recommend bringing your own soap, especially if you prefer a more natural detergent: the stuff they sell here is sort of weird and has a strong fragrance. While this place might be an expensive choice as a long-term laundromat, it was a completely acceptable place to do one load of laundry mid-trip.

Doing laundry in a foreign country is always a daunting task, especially if you do not understand…read morethe language. Plus the machines do not necessarily operate the way that Americans understand. This is a nice washing faculty, clean, has signs in English, and you can pay with paper bills as well as coins. For three loads of clothes to wash and dry well and purchase soap, expect to pay between €20-25. Wash cycles take about 45 min depending on cycle selected, and drying takes 8 min per cycle. Expect to use at least 2 drying cycles. Be aware that many people in Paris arrive with wet clothes - simply to dry them. So dryers go quickly.

Asked approximately how much our laundry would cost and she quoted us €60 for our 3 bags. Not exactly cheap but then again the facility was clean, tidy, and close to the Hilton Opera. We couldn't figure out exactly how she came up with the quote since she just dropped the bags onto the floor (didn't see a scale on the floor). **Clothes came out smelling great but they lost a sock of mine which they later found stuck in the washer. My advice would be to make sure to take an inventory of all articles of clothing before you drop it off. I believe I saw a rate of €4.99 per kilo but that was at their second location.
