Cleaning By Marines helped me with a move from one side of Atlanta to the other. I had general household items, and a particularly heavy item that several other companies said they wouldn't touch. The guys that showed up were polite, friendly, and very careful with my items and houses. Ask for Dan (and his Beast-mode crew). read more

I wouldn't even give this company 1 star if I had a choice. We called to confirm with this company 3 times before the day they were supposed to show up. We made it very clear each time exactly what we needed done and each time they agreed it wouldn't be a problem to get it done for $100 an hour. So 1 guy shows up without a pick up truck, which was pretty much useless for what we needed done. The worker calls his boss to explain the situation and his boss said they couldn't use a pickup truck for the job. After some explaining that without a pick up truck the job can't be done, the boss tells us he will allow the pickup truck to be used for a flat rate of $1,000. This was absolutely ridiculous. We called explaining very clearly that they would need to bring a pick up truck for the job several times and they agreed to it all several times. I so wish we would have called a different company up front. We were on a tight schedule and needed the job done that day so we were left in a bad situation thanks to these people. I would definitely recommend calling a different company. read more

Used this company to move furniture from one home to another. They showed up a day early and then I had to call them back twice to get rescheduled back to the correct day. The day of the move, 3 men showed up 2.5 hours late (I requested 4 men). Was told at booking to pay with credit card on the day of the move (which is great because who carries around so much cash) and when they finally showed up (late) I was told I had to pay "as much cash as possible and the rest check". Two of the three complained all day about various body ailments and at one point, one of them just stopped working and sat in the truck. They frequently stopped for smoke breaks. Couldn't efficiently load the truck which resulted in 2 trips AND they STILL didn't even get it all. They broke my jewelry armoire, and banged up the walls in both homes. I had family scheduled to use them, but they are now using other companies due to my experience. Do not use this company. read more

I first made my reservation for 2 men/1 truck. the woman taking the reservation initially made the reservation for 3 men/1 truck (which is a higher rate per hour) and when I asked her to explain to me why i would need the 3rd man (which I didn't) she couldn't justify it and got an attitude (what great customer service). A couple of days before my move I called to confirm and found it was still reserved at 3 men and a truck. When I asked for it to be changed the man would not honor my request and began debating it with me (he could not justify it and ended it with saying that "it wasn't worth it to them to come out for $75 per hour") When I asked why they would advertise 2 men/truck for moving if "it wasn't worth it" he also couldn't answer me. I had a studio's worth of stuff to move so there was no viable reason not to provide the 2-man crew. They didn't want to because they wanted to charge me more money per hour, with a 3 hour minimum charge. He told me that he could see that I was going to "be a problem", told me to find other movers, and hung up on me. I called back 3 times and texted him; he did not respond at all. This company distributed bright yellow fliers in my neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods today. It was obvious someone was just throwing them out of a car because they were thrown just in the vicinity of mailboxes (i.e. in the street, storm drains, middle of the yard, etc.) I noticed this was the case at all of the houses on my 3-4 mile walk. When I got back, I called the company phone number to complain and the man who answered the phone wanted to know which neighborhood I lived in (so presumably they could come and collect all of the offending fliers??) Something told me not to tell him where I live and I asked him "Don't you know where your company has distributed it's advertising?" Evidently, he didn't get it that I was just calling to complain so they wouldn't throw their fliers out like that again and he ended up calling me a "MF" (??!!-I'm a woman!). I'm all for small businesses hustling for work but not if they are going to create trash at the very places they want to charge you to haul it away and then call potential customers a MF!! read more
