I brought in a Letterman's jacket to be cleaned on Jan. 2nd. I paid for it to be cleaned and was told it should be done sometime by the next day between 5-7. Excellent. As I was about to leave, I realized I had forgotten some important cards in the pocket, and went to collect them and was told that the previous time I was given was mistaken, and it might take up to a month. Okay, a little excessive it seems but I'm not in a massive rush so no big deal. I wait a few weeks until Jan 25th, figuring what the hell if the jacket is done then awesome, and if not then, oh well, they did say it might take up to a month after all. I get told that my jacket should be done by Jan 31st. Excellent, a set day that it should be done! I come back on Feb. 1st. A day after it's supposed to be done, and barely within the 1 month mark I had been given. I am informed that the day my jacket should be done is actually going to be Feb. 4th. Okay, no big deal, a little irritating but it's just barely outside the 1 month mark and at least I can come back in a few days and my jacket will be done... Right? You'd think so, but I went back Today, Feb. 6th, supposedly 2 days after the jacket is supposed to, once again, be DONE. I am given another day to come back, this time luckily it's tomorrow. By this point though, I'm not holding my breath. Even if my jacket is the cleanest, most pristine condition when I get it back, I don't think I'll be coming back here. The extreme turnaround time is, quite frankly, ridiculous and there has been no attempt by anyone in a managerial position or higher to make things right as of yet. I can understand having a long estimate in case something goes wrong, or there are some difficulties. I have thus far been very patient, but at this point I'm starting to wonder whether I'll get my jacket back in another month, or if it will take longer than even that. Continuously going back on or after the day I have been given, and constantly being given a new date that my jacket should be done by does not inspire confidence in this location as a business, let alone as a company I'm supposed to trust with laundering something where care needs to be taken.

With that being said, I did take away 1 star because some of the people who go here have no decorum. I started my washer and left to run errands, and when I came back literally just 30 mins after my washer had stopped, somebody took all my clothes out of the washer and left them in a basket. Talk about invasive! That is disgusting behavior. No one should be touching other people's clothes without their permission. It's not like there were no other washers open, there are literally only 3 other washers running as I type this. I can't even bear the thought of someone else's hands touching my clothes. Learn some manners, people. It's not that hard to have some respect for other people's property! Update: Took away another star. Even the owner admitted to having his own personal clothes stolen from his laundromat. Yet, he is unwilling to do anything about it. "Wash at your risk," he says. Anyway, Oasis is down the street.
