She was closing down an open house, but was gracious enough to allow me to walk through it as she finished. I was not interested, but I took her card and thanked her. A few days later, I called her to see if she would show me some houses. She said yes, but why wouldn't she? She does this for a living. Over the next couple of weeks, we met up three or four times to look at other houses, and then I found what I was looking for! Heather drew up the papers, and got our offer accepted! It was so exciting! We would be living there today if there hadn't been an unexpected snag that caused the deal to fall through. Heather went right back to work for me. We looked at dozens of houses over the next couple of months, and submitted offers on several properties. One day a house I liked came back on the market after an unexpected snag caused a deal to fall through. She met me there, submitted an offer that included repairs of what caused the prior deal to fall through, and got it accepted! This time, there were no snags, and we are comfortably residing in our new home! Working with Heather to buy my home was an experience I will long treasure! She has such a bubbly personality that you can't help but be happy when you're around her, but, when it comes down to business, it is her intellect and capability that make her a gem in her profession! She gets the job done! Now, I've spent a lot of this review bolstering Heather, but I don't want you to get the incorrect presumption that she is perfect. She seemed to always be ten minutes late. It never bothered me that much, but she would always apologize and offer to buy me a latte. It got to be a joke that she would call me to see if I wanted my latte when she got there, and, if so, she would be twenty minutes late! Heather never pressured me, nor did she give up on me. She got me information I wanted, and gave me information I didn't know I wanted. She knew what needed to be done, and arranged all of it. She stayed on top of the process, and dealt with all the snags that didn't cause the deal to fall through. She earned her money helping me buy a house, but she earned also something more valuable than money: my respect and admiration. It was coincidence, not fate, that we met. Still, it was a life changing event, and I feel so lucky that particular coincidence happened!

All I asked for was my appraisal fee back. On the day of closing, they requested an inspection. I asked ever day for the loan estimate and never got one. These people are very unprofessional! There should be a law that would force them to close on the loan after the loan estimate has signed

They are Incompetent of researching properties and performing due diligence before agreeing to make…read morea loan. They will have you paying for survey, home binder insurance and then back out on you the day before closing. They simply don't have a process in place or the employees to do due diligence on properties to make sure they can loan on it. This makes them look very bad. Having a process in place will help deals go smoothly and save both parties unnecessary labor and fees. I won't be bringing any deals back to this company and I don't recommend them to anyone for this reason. Folks, don't waste time and money...ask questions!

Our buyers loan failed with their original lender and we did not discover this until day 35 into contract on closing day. Sellers kindly agreed to keep the same buyers if they changed lenders and were able to close in less then 30 days (30 day close date extension). So Paul saved the deal. He came in on his white horse helped those buyers when another lender failed and today the buyers got keys and my sellers got paid. So impressed with the Skyline home team. I asked her to keep digging. When she found a better interest rate, she said, "Well, it's a good thing I decided to keep looking!" Isn't that her job? Linda said that, since our loan amount was so small, we would not have to gather together documentation of all our financial accounts, just two of them, which would save time. But then we had to get documentation of all our accounts! It ended up taking four weeks to close. So, in other words, she is full of false advertising!
