Worst experience ever. We were misled with important information for months about VA entitlements in Pierce and Thurston County. We were also told our down payment would be a certain amount and at last minute they dumped an extra 5 thousand dollars on to that which we were not prepared for causing us to back out of the contract and losing $1000 earnest money. This place.... Words can't even become to express how incredibly unprofessional our first lender was with this company. Rude and snappy on the phone, condescending, CONSTANTLY kept 'misplacing' documents I had emailed her numerous times and the icing on the cake was when I called once and she answered the phone with: WHAT. After asking for a new lender and explaining at length why, they had Mellisa ( the lender I no longer wanted to work with) call me to ask WHY. It was beyond comprehension she couldn't understand why and why her manager would feel it was in any way appropriate to have the woman I'm firing to call me to ask WHY. On top of that after Guild sold our loan to another company, they didn't inform us for months after the fact, and proceeded to lose the mortgage payment we made instead of forwarding it to the new company. Then argued with me on the phone about it after it was verified by the delivery company ( via certified mail) that Guild had indeed received the check. The ONLY reason this place gets a 2 star is because the 2nd lender we worked with was amazing. read more

This company is a nightmare! There wasnt an option to leave 0 stars, cause this company doesn't deserve the one I gave! Mkristo Bruce is the most unprofessional, unknowledgeable, unethical, and vindictive loan officer I have ever dealt with. My husband and I are first time home buyers and also ex military. The entire process from start to finally having to transfer was not only beyond ridiculous, but an emotional rollercoaster Mkristo enjoyed taking us on. He not only didnt believe how much income my husband made through his business, he never listened to me when I was answering his multiple questions, lost documents I sent him, accessed our personal bank accounts whenever he felt the need on and off the clock on his personal cell phone, requesting multiple letters on accounts we never had, or explaining again and again that we are "first time homebuyers" because he kept forgetting, to almost losing the house 4 separate times because he constantly kept asking for more documents proving income and that we needed to pay $20k for future taxes. On top of that, 6 days before closing, we transfer lenders and find out he NEVER ORDERED THE APPRAISAL! EVERYTHING he could possibly do to prevent us from closing, HE DID IT!!
