So I have had quite a bit of dental work here. 4 implants total. I have never experienced rudeness here, in fact they have been very helpful and pleasant. There have been a few hiccups which they have resolved when I spoke with them. I have a really big fear of dental work. When I first started with treatment I had 2 failed crowns that had to have pulled, one of my back teeth was very difficult to get out I think because the root was too long or something. However the attempt to pull that tooth out was very painful and could not seem to be numbed as well as the other side. They finally called in someone to help and it worked, but it was very painful and added to my anxiety. After those implants were complete I had a front tooth break and needed both front teeth replaced. The financial person, Jollee was very helpful I had seen her at my first visit and she worked with my insurance and me to understand everything financially. When moving to my next procedures Jollee had moved "across" the street to their surgical center, so I had spoken with someone else and that experience was not as clear cut as Jollee, when I had my front tooth experience Jollee was back thank goodness and helped me understand my previous quotes and everything financially up to date. She is pleasant, kind and helpful. I also spoke with her about some of my previous experience with anxiety and why and she offered nitrous oxide and it was extremely helpful. It would be helpful to have an after visit summary as most of the time my anxiety is so high I have very little comprehension after the surgeries. My partner was always there thank goodness and they were able to give her my care plan. Dr. Pham was my initial dentist and now is Dr. Das, all the dentist/ surgeons have been helpful and kind. The environment is very clean and pleasant. I do recommend Clear Lake Dental. A lot of concerns can be alleviated by asking questions until everyone is clear on the expected outcome. If they offer a dental plan outside of your budget say no, and see if there is a less expensive plan. I did not give a 5 star because right now I have been waiting over a week for confirmation about a balance due. I don't want to get a text about a balance due without reviewing a statement. So hopefully they will send via email as I have asked via text and email. read more

Just want to say ty to this dental clinic! I went in as an emergency patient and had never been there. After reading reviews I was reluctant to go, but I had a very bad wisdom tooth, that I thought was a molar, was loose and infected. From Aly at the front desk to Jolee who was my consultant, to Jasmin the surgeon assistant, to the surgeon herself, Dr Tajdin. Ty so much for the wonderful treatment! I feel like a new person today. Yes, I was a walk in and they took care of my emergency and did the oral surgery! I do have dental insurance, and thought I would still pay an arm and a leg, but nope! She was extremely unpleasant to meet, she very briefly eye contacted me and did not want to engage. They don't deserve my business with such a receptionist at the front desk which makes everyone working there look bad. She was to small to ruin my day. I just walked out. read more

After paying over $12,000.00 for three implants in OCTOBER 2022, I am told I have no warranty, and all three implants are now very loose. They want $100.00 to look at the implants. All they need is to be tightened. Very disgusted with their work. I was told I lost the 7 year warranty, I paid for, because I didn't come in to have my teeth cleaned. This was never explained to me and it cost so much to pay off the debt for the implants I couldn't afford the cleaning. read more

The whole experience was quick and painless! I went in to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Everyone there was so friendly and very thorough when going over instructions post procedure. Jessica, dental hygienist is caring and gentle. Dr. Das used to be my dentist and he is amazing, gentle and caring as well. Well, then was supposed to have a filling done last time I saw Jessica for my first deep cleaning by Dr. Pham who had numbed my gums in numerous injections quite aggressively, my mouth hurt for a month all the way up into my sinuses that was a first. Suddenly Dr. Pham did not have time to do my filling even though I had already paid for it because he now had to do a root canal on another patient. I had been prescribed Halcion and another sedation medication by Dr. Pham because of dental fears, he said you won't remember anything, wrong, I remember it all... Unfortunately, Dr. Aceveda left the clinic after having her baby, so now there is another new female dentist, Dr. Tajgin, I think Auda spelled her name, who needs to look at my x-rays to see if she will agree to perform the filling per Auda, the quite rude receptionist I spoke to on the phone this morning, they will have someone look into my account about the already paid for dental procedure, click... Poor front office phone experience!!! After I few minutes called back and spoke with Alissa, now here was the kind and compassionate receptionist Clear Lake Dental has always had on the line, even went above and beyond apologizing for her coworker's poor customer service and attitude. Still waiting for a call back from Courtney from a call a few months ago, she is now supposed to call me back again. read more

The dentist and tech left me completely alone while I was on Valium and actively being administered nitrous oxide. After a while of being alone, I started calling out but no one came and all I heard was people laughing down the hall. I feel pretty upset about this experience. read more

The quality of service has really declined, the front desk staff aren't as friendly or welcoming as they used to be, and it seems that dental assistants (not sure of the exact title) are doing tasks that the dentist should actually be doing. read more

Would not recommend. Tried to scam me and my insurance for everything it covered for the year. Took their list of "treatments" they said I needed to my home town dentist and he said I didn't need any of it. All I wanted was my teeth cleaned and they sent me home with a list of treatment totally $5000! They didn't even clean my teeth! read more

The coordinator - Jolee, herself was nice and informative. My consultation was free of charge as a new patient. However, when I was on the phone with the assistant, she gave me a price quote of $1300. But when I was in the office, the price came out to be $2300. Polite and thorough every step of the way. Easy to book as a new patient, easy paperwork link, appointment time respected and was called back promptly. My bill and estimate were well explained which I definitely appreciate. Not one unfriendly face or tone in the building. From the new patient intake to the receptionist on my way out. Hi, so NEVER go to this place... they are absolutely terrible. I was told to pay $150 towards a flipper, which I paid... and mind you while waiting for the flipper... they've put at least 4 temporary teeth in my one spot that I need an implant but they are ridiculously over priced and as we all know dental work is not cheap. To get to point the temporary tooth that they kept putting in my mouth that I had to repeatedly pay for over and over again because their work is AWFUL and it wouldn't stay in my mouth... now they're saying that I can't come pick up MY flipper that I've paid for and they're saying that was the payment for the temporary tooth. These people are money hungry and awful. I have 70,000 of dental work in my mouth.. needless to say I've never had to write a terrible review like this... I really wish I could speak to a supervisor. This place is a fucking JOKE! I do not recommend and would leave ZERO stars but I can't so. read more

A friend recommend Dr. Das. I've seen him and Dr. Darcey. Both (plus everyone else that works here) are very friendly and competent. I kind of have a fear of the dentist chair but I recently got a cavity filled (by Dr. Darcey) and I was surprised by how well it went. They listened when I warned that I don't get numb easily and they probably gave me the max amount - I didn't feel a thing! They gave me a nice soft blanket when I said I was cold. I was given nitrous oxide for my first time. It either helped or it was the deep breaths that helped but either way with all those factors in place, I was pleased with my experience. I'm probably paying more for the nice setting but for me, it is worth it. I've gone the cheap-o route before and it went horribly wrong. *shudder* read more

I went in for a broken tooth that needed to be pulled. It was first come, first serve on a Saturday. I got in within an hour. Dentist was friendly, funny and upbeat. Staff was polite and paperwork was minimal. They were detailed re my prescriptions and very careful with a heart issue. Informative aftercare. read more

I've had two fillings that they did fall apart. They fixed the first one but refused to fix the second one because they claimed I was "outside of their warranty period". Wow.... Well, they have really disappointed me! I did not like that for the first visit was ONLY a consult with X-RAYS with NO cleaning because they needed to check my INS...? I called them 2 month later to get myself scheduled. They helped me it was fine. Then this last visit I did not do the flouride I did the $150 for sealants and I skipped it this time. I get a bill for the flouride. Called the office let Monica know that I didn't do it and to please take it off, she said she had to check with the hygienist.... Ok that was over a month ago I am sure she remembers. Then I get another notification and the next girl tells me we check and you did get the treatment! WOW over $20!! Tried to pay and she said she would wave, so why didn't you just take care of your patient and wave it in the first place so I didn't have to get mad... Watch out they are just about the money should have not gone back after the first visit!! read more

I have never felt this comfortable in a dentists office before. They have been very honest and helpful towards helping me have access to the dental care I need with out insurance available. We have a budgeted plan and I have my first procedure appt set and paid for. When I called around town I received curt exasperation at my insurance status from other offices receptionist. The staff here has shown me empathy and concern and gone above and beyond to ensure I feel comfortable despite my dental anxieties. I tried to go to Clear Lake Dental last year when I needed to get my wisdom teeth extracted, they were friendly and it's a one stop shop! Sadly, however, they didn't take my insurance. I got new insurance this year so I was able to ditch my old dentist and come back to Clear Lake! They got me my appointment quickly, and didn't have to wait long at all in the waiting room. I was impressed. I am usually nervous at the dentist, but the staff made me feel very comfortable.

I will start with the medical staff and this was excellent. They told me I would be sore for one day and that was exactly as promised. The office staff was the real star. I think so many dental and medical doctors loose so many patients because of unhappy and poorly trained staff. It was so nice to observe the workings of the office proceeding calmly and efficiently. Clear Lake dental is very organized, up to date with technology and great staff! I went in just for a check up and routine cleaning. They did not try to sell extra products or services which I feel like most dental offices do. I would recommend Clear Lake Dental to others and will continue to return. Amazing people work here. I hate the dentist with a passion and they did an evaluation without me coming off the table. Of course the result are terrible and I'm looking at a minimum of $7K in work but they worked out a step by step plan for me. The doctor was very kind and I got the feeling that he genuinely cares.
