Completely -- Unapologetic for deficiencies. CP has a formula to make a lot of promises. Then when you transfer authority to them, they'll reinvest your portfolio. Without listening to the client. Then they'll begin assessing significant fees -- for doing nothing. Saying that their representatives and Creative Planning are fiduciaries -- I'd like to see teams of lawyers argue their lack of performance, service and misuse of that word. Very disappointed. Waste of time, money, involvement. We could not continue with CP. Relationship became painful. Find a better way.

They fired my advisor and while he was kind enough to inform me I never heard a peep from THE RETIREMENT PLANNING GROUP. Not knowing how to proceed and wrongly assuming they would contact me assigning a new manager I was recently greeted with this sterile little form letter. Letting me know in effect they were cutting me loose 2 DAYS prior to the post mark on the envelope (photo attached) . My suggestion to anyone considering having THE RETIREMENT PLANNING GROUP touch your life's savings is to consider the integrity and lack of basic customer service they have shown. In my opinion they don't want to help little fish grow their portfolios they only want big fat whales, they're easier. They had contacted me as I had some of their products previously and asked if I wanted to make any updates. Indeed I did! I talked at length with them over the phone and email and then scheduled an appointment to come in. I was greeted by the front-desk with a smile and offered coffee. I wasn't waiting long before Chris Ellman greeted me with a handshake and brought us into his office to talk options. If you've ever been in the market for life insurance before, it's has many complex and exotic products. I left far more educated on what they have to offer. After two meetings in person, we signed our John Hancocks and were satisfied with the customer service we received. On a side note, Chris chatted with us about our backgrounds and his and learned that we are looking to sell one of our cars. He asked permission to pass that around and within a few days one of his friends called me to check out the car. He really goes out of his way to make the business transaction personal. 1 Star Review - RTS Financial / Ryan Transportation (Factoring & Fuel Card)…read more I do not recommend RTS Financial (Ryan Transportation Services) to any trucking company or owner operator. They advertise one thing, but the reality is completely different. They charged me a 1% fee on the platform/app, and then when the money was deposited, I noticed another deduction, meaning the numbers did not match what was shown in their app. Also, they told me their fuel card savings would average 50 cents per gallon, but that turned out to be false. The best discount I ever received was around 29 cents per gallon. Another big issue is communication and transparency. They were not clear with the contract details, and I had trouble getting copies of the agreement they originally sent. Overall, I had a very bad experience with RTS factoring and their fuel card program. I recommend trucking companies be careful and read everything before signing up.
