This company does not know how to install shingles. They put a new roof on my parents house in…read moreOnekama MI. The shingles do not extend past the drip edge. In some places they do not even meet the the drip edge. Then questioned, Jason said this is how they install them to reduce wind damage. This does not meet the manufactures instructions or the Asphalt Roofing Manufactures Association guidelines witch state shingles should extend 1/4" to 3/4" past drip edge. Most roofers seems to go 1/2" to 1". The result of Jayson's method is the rain runs down the facia board instead of dripping as intended. I should also add that a year after the storm, my parents house still had items to repair. My parents had to hire other contractors to finish. Absolute services was supposed to be a one stop general contractor to repair all the storm damage. They did the roof and subbed out the rest.
