Allen Wheatfill was very professional and detail-oriented. My job was to install an Anker Home Power Panel (HPP) and emergency sub-panel. The HPP is a fairly new product; it is a smart auto-transfer switch. Allen did his homework with the HPP by taking many photos and visiting the manufacturer's website for installation information. All this work was just for the proposal before the job was awarded. Initially, the job was estimated to take about 1.5 days. However, due to the #2 gauge cable and the challenging routing required for a tidy installation, the job took over three days. I never write reviews, but this is the least I could do! Discovered a wall outlet in my garage wasn't working, that a freezer full of food is plugged into. Did my own troubleshooting, and couldn't find any issues. Called ClearView, and Allen answered the phone right away (that in itself is amazing!). While he doesn't service my area (Genoa), he asked what my problem was, and offered suggestions I hadn't thought of, and said he would look at my breaker panels if I sent some pictures. Turned out to be a tripped GFI on a "down the line" outlet that I couldn't easily see. The point is, Allen took the extra time to help me out for nothing. But the something is the good will and excellent customer service he provided! In an age of zero customer service, Allen and ClearView are a breath of fresh air! P.S. This review is a bit late but I contacted Allen a few weeks ago around 7pm. The power had gone out to half of my house and he was very helpful in going through all the check points to make sure it wasn't just something that was an easy fix and could save us money in the long run. This is the first time I've felt like I wasn't going to be over charged if I did need someone as he genuinely seemed to care and get to the root cause of the issue. Allen continued to be very responsive throughout the night as I had additional questions, but it turns out it was something SMUD ended up coming out to fix. I discovered there was no power to one of the pumps before heading to a night shift. I called Liberty Electric late Saturday evening to troubleshoot and repair the issue. Allen got back to me quickly and was able to fit me in right away between projects since I was concerned with the warm weather the pool would turn green with the pump out of commission. I requested to have our electric panel checked because half of our home does not have electricity working since this weekend. We're in dire need of electricity before Thursday because of family friends are staying over. Allen was so accommodating and said he can come within a few hours after another job site. He sent me an appointment reminder and communicated every step of the way. This is a great quality of his that we rarely see with other people/companies. Thanks alot Allen again. I got my 125Amp electrical panel replaced with 200Amp square D panel with Liberty electrical. Allen is very helpful, methodical, precise and knowledgeable person. I contacted several electrical contractors and everyone told me that 200Amp upgrade will be lot of digging and trenching but Allen guided me that for my particular home that will not be needed and he made it possible without any digging and trenching by working closely with City folks. The conduit and piping was already there from builder, I don't know how other contractors were not able to understand this standards, but Allen really helped me out out of box and made it possible. Really really appricate your help. He is very disciplined on timing and follow-up and got everything small and big thing done on time, I never needed to remind or follow-up. We had a really unfortunate electric issue that came during the middle of this summer. I originally reached out to Allen during the weekend, and he was able to come out within 24hrs to come and take a look at our issues. We ended up needing to replace the panel for the house...but was definitely needed to be done since our house was built in 1942. Allen was able to explain everything to where it made sense to my wife and I (we have no idea about electrical) and we were happy to hire him for the full job. He was so nice and respectful to the house and property. He was legit about the permits, having the city/SMUD come out to inspect. The panel job was wrapped in one day, and even brought a generator for us to use (even supplied the gas!) while we were working at home since all power was off during the change out. With us having such an old house, we were only a 110v. He even upgraded us to a 220v at no extra charge! I would rehire him again for any other project and would highly recommend him to any others. It is difficult to find honest, reliable and hardworking trades people, and I am happy to have found one in Allen from ClearView. My tenant was suddenly with no electricity to the kitchen, and I tried troubleshooting via phone. Since we couldn't get it back up, I checked Yelp and trusting his stellar reviews I gave Allen a call in the middle of the day. He was willing to stop by the same day, after hours, and was able to identify the problem: there was a tripped circuit breaker at the electrical panel that needed resetting. He not only left everything running again, but since he had studied the setup he also offered guidance to my tenant as to how to distribute the various appliances so to not overload the circuits in the future. To top this, he did not want to charge me anything, and he did all of this with the best attitude, and being very responsive and thorough at all times. He also let me know that "The electrical system is old, but it is working. So as long as they go easy on the system, it should last several more years" which definitely brings me peace of mind, and again shows how honest Allan is. My neighbors tree fell on my power drop going from PG&Es pole to my meter. It bent the riser coming out of my roof and damaged my meter. I called Allen at Liberty Electric that night. He called me back within 30 minutes, came out the next morning and assessed what needed to be done.
