Jared did some work at our South Lake Tahoe house. He was very professional and delivered quality work at a reasonable price. He installed receptacles for our new automatic garage doors, put all the outside front lights on a timer, added receptacles in two bedrooms, and installed four cameras around the house. He did the work while we were away. He stayed in touch at all times and made the effort of doing face time with us to make sure he was doing what we wanted. I found Yetter Electric on Yelp and must say Jared was fabulous!! He installed heat tape on my home in Tahoe and was a joy to work with. He was on time, was professional, cleaned up after the job, and bid the job lower than the others. In the end he even charged less than the bid and he also fixed a leak in my gutter while he was on the roof!! You just don't find people that are so reliable and helpful like him anymore. Hello Yelpers. I agree with all previous reviews. I live in San Jose, CA and have a cabin in SLT, CA. It is always difficult to get reliable, skilled, reasonably priced repair in SLT. I called Jared, he was swamped but made the time to get over to the cabin and determine the problem. He delayed his return to the bay area to purchase, install a part, fixing the problem. It's Friday morning, the sun is shining, the Lake is calling and I am indoors. The best part of my weekend was the visit by Jared, the electrician, to upgrade my existing indoor lighting. I'm serious. I'd purchased new indoor lighting fixtures with the intent of a do-it-yourself (DIY) project...I'm thrilled that a) I read the lighting directions with the big bolded text bit "install by professional", and b) most importantly then called Jared of Yetter Electric. What you want to know: He's kind, professional, easy to communicate with, keenly observant, offered brilliant suggestion and did a thorough job. What more can you ask for? I'll tell you: On the replacement of the dining room chandelier, he recognized the former install had incorrectly left too much bare wire exposed, an unsafe electrical situation which he corrected. Without a doubt, had I been attempting a DIY I wouldn't have recognized this. He also offered creative solutions for a couple of the light fixtures that I had selected, but wouldn't quite fit in the desired spaces, and the outcome was loads better than expected. I love love my new lights!!! :-) He's great. You'll be very pleased, and it always helps to know money is going to a good honest person. read more

Jared was so helpful and professional. He installed some lights and dimmers in my house in the Bay Area, CA. His prices were also less than the lighting store. I thought I bought good quality lights, but when Jared took them out of the box and put them up, the track lighting was cheap and the screws wouldn't hold. He fixed everything without extra charge to me even though it took twice as long to install. And in the end they looked perfect. He took the extra time to ensure everything was set up correctly. He's also really good at lighting advice and decor. Helped me match my lighting fixtures to my home decor. Great eye for detail and aesthetics! Can't thank him enough! Everything looks great!
