They did a great job. My only complaint is how expensive it was but everything is expensive right now. I'm used to paying a guy who stops at my door for window cleaning and does a half crap job for less money. I was happy with their professionalism and work. read more

We contracted clearview to clean the windows on townhouses in our HOA. The entire process was a hot mess. They didn't do the quote right and had to stop work to verify the price changes with each homeowner. They didn't communicate timing or that residents would need to be home to have their outside windows cleaned from the inside. And then they pulled out of the job half way through! The owner was very unapologetic and unprofessional in his email telling us they would not be finishing the job. Which was frustrating to homeowners who rearranged schedules to make it work. Don't waste your time or money on these guys. So much of this could have been avoided if they would communicate better and take the time to do a proper quote. read more

This is a difficult one to review. I bought a new home in Ogden a few years ago and had Clearview come do an estimate and start cleaning the windows. The estimate was very reasonable and so I scheduled the cleaning and a guy came out and did a great job. I had them come again and it was good too. The next time I called to have them come they sent a new guy. The guy came and was told very clearly, do not leave doors open as we have two cats, one which is an escape artist. Well he left a door open, out goes the cat. We live up by Weber State and our house is surrounded by open space and deep foliage. I spent over 8 hours out calling and looking for the cat and he did finally come back. I called the owner and he did absolutely nothing. I am done with them, as this was a simple request. I have had window cleaners with these 2 cats for over 5 years and this is the only person who was incapable of shutting a door after going out. It's not like you need to leave the doors open to clean the windows. He did not do the same quality of work as the prior window cleaner. I feel he was not trained adequately and therefore I have gone to another service. read more

Clear view was excellent in every way--great communication, excellent service, expert installation. I had disappearing screens installed a few years ago by a competitor and when I called Clearview to fix my defective screens they came out promptly, discussed options (there weren't many) and came back at the appointed time to install new screens. The new screens work great and my only regret is that I wasted $1500 on the competitor before calling Clearview. read more

We had a difficult problem that Gary worked diligently to resolve. We have three tall and unusually shaped windows facing west. These windows have vertical aluminum blinds which needed repair - problems with the headrails, issues with opening and closing. Clearview was the only company who said they could work with us to resolve the problems, and this was accomplished. We also ended up getting three sun screens installed on these windows to help with our utility bills. The process was a frustrating one due to the shape of our windows, but Gary's tech was superb and dedicated. read more

I rarely go to the effort of writing a review. However, in this case, the service was so horrendous I feel an obligation to warn others. I took in a few window sliding door screens to have rescreened. Communication was very poor and it literally took over a month to get my screens back. And, I basically had to call and demand to make an appointment to pick them up. All communication came from my direction, and he often would send his phone to voicemail when I tried to get an update. I was pressured to purchase a sliding door screen that I knew would NOT fit. I repeatedly asked to have a new one ordered and, again and again was pressured to purchase the one he had on hand, despite it looking like it had been previously used. The owner seemed to have difficulty managing his business, forgetting the appointment I had made not an hour before coming. He was rude and condescending when contacted by myself and spouse. And, then, when I pick up my screens says "did anyone mention to you there is an additional charge for using a card?" Heck no, they didn't---and it was over $150. There are companies who can come to your home and rescreen windows in THEIR VAN and be done in 1-2 hours at most! He had our screens for over a month and we're still out a screen door. It's terrible to have to say unkind things, especially about a local business---but honestly, DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS MAN. YOU'LL REGRET IT IF YOU DO! read more

I love these blinds. They have cut the heat coming in from my west facing windows substantially and they look good. Although Gary told me it would be several weeks, he started and finished the job completely and quickly. read more
