Dr. Roeckel took x-rays and asked me to come back later that day to discuss. I was so happy he had time to see me the same day because I really needed relief for my pain. When I came back, we discussed the x-rays and a course of treatment for the neck and upper spine issues he found. Then he adjusted me. My neck feels better, then headache is gone, but I can still feel a residual pain which he said will happen. He asked me to come back tomorrow morning (although they are normally closed on Fridays) so he can adjust me again before the weekend. I can tell Dr. Roeckel cares about his patients and he immediately put me at ease. I'm looking forward to working with him in the next month for my treatment.

For anyone with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), I cannot stress enough how…read moreimportant it is to see if chiropractic care is an option (especially at Green Chiropractic). For years, I was passed from specialist to specialist without ever being referred to a chiropractor. Ironically, it was a TikTok about cervical care and POTS that led me to look into it. By January of this year, I was sitting in my doctor's office in tears because my quality of life had gotten so low. I went from lifting weights for an hour a day, five days a week, to barely being able to get out of bed. I had constant nausea, severe dizziness, tachycardia, and pre-syncope. I couldn't walk around my own home and had to scooch or crawl if my husband wasn't there to help me. As a PhD student, keeping up with school felt nearly impossible. Even less than 2,000 steps a day left me exhausted and weak, and all I wanted to do when I got home was sleep. Despite being advised to prioritize cardiology care first, I decided to schedule with Green Chiropractic. When I saw my X-rays and the amount of stress being placed on my nervous system, I was shocked that, in over 10 years of symptoms (and 8 years to get diagnosed), this had never been suggested as an option. After my very first adjustment, I went home and walked up three flights of stairs with my heart rate staying under 90 (when it would normally be 140-180). It was a temporary effect, but it gave me hope. After several weeks of consistent care, my headaches have gradually disappeared. I can't remember the last time I had a migraine!! My dizziness and nausea are almost completely gone. At my recent cardiology stress test, I actually started crying because (for the first time in months) I was able to move and push myself without getting dizzy. My heart rate was still elevated, and I obviously have low exercise tolerance, but my blood pressure remained stable, and I had ZERO dizziness!!! I'm now slowly getting back into working out, which has been huge for my mental health. Going from being unable to stand or walk around my home to a 50m walk outside with my husband over Easter is overwhelming (in the best way). What makes Green Chiropractic stand out is their thoroughness and intention. Everything is clearly explained, there's a structured plan, and it truly feels like they care about long-term results (when the patient chooses), not just temporary relief. That has NOT been my experience with chiropractic care. I know everyone experiences POTS differently, but I also know how hopeless it can feel when nothing seems to help. My husband started seeing Jeremiah in May of 2021. I've always been skeptical of chiropractic care…read morebut my husband being a physician looked into the methods they use, did a ton of research and decided he would try it out. Fast forward to my husband badgering me to go because I constantly complained of muscle tension, hip pain (after having my 2 kids) and headaches. I decided to give it a go because the worst thing that could happen, was nothing happening. He took X-rays and even with my limited medical experience I could see how wonky my spine was. After a couple months of going regularly it dawned on my that I hadn't had a tension headache in a while. I slept better and over all just felt like I had better tolerance for day to day activity.
