I had been enduring debilitating migraine headaches that were completely unaffected by traditional adjustments. Finding the courage to switch to Dr. Green was the best choice for me. Your first visit will include review of symptoms, discussion of current quality of life and your spine will be x-rayed to determine course of care. His approach is very intensive and may also involve physical therapy, electric impulses and traction in order to provide maximum effect. What I learned throughout my treatment is how my own lifestyle and posture effects my spine. Having an adjustment every few months will not resolve anything if you are not willing to change habits put in the time to do recommended daily exercises/stretches to maintain your spine. You are really in the driver's seat in terms of how effective your treatment will be and that is very empowering. The impact this clinic has had on my overall quality of life is immeasurable. I never had any insurance issues myself so I cannot speak to that, but I would encourage anyone who has had a billing issue to contact the clinic directly. There was a front desk staff change recently so I would call and try to straighten things out. I had been suffering from back pain for nearly 5 months and had been in a car accident which compounded my pain at the time I began getting chiropractic care from Dr. Green. Previous to my car accident I had been under the care of a different Chiropractor for the first time ever. My pain wasn't getting any better. I left my previous Chiropractor last year when I happened to visit Green Chiropractic. I saw some cars there on a Saturday and so stopped in. The doctor finished visiting with the only patient there then asked me about my concerns. I explained everything, they performed some functional movement assessments, and said that I should come back during business hours for a more in depth discussion. She spent 30 minutes with me, and they were closed! What more can I say? What other doctor do you know that would have that much concern? I came back during the week for an appointment, had x-rays, met with Dr. Green a few evenings later and discovered some significant alignment issues. I started going to the Omaha Headache Clinic about a month ago after having a migraine pretty much daily for more than a month. At that point i was ready to try almost anything to end the pain. I was visiting the ER for fluids and meds weekly and getting only temporary relief. I have suffered from migraines for 17 years,starting from age ten. I had good periods of time and bad periods. I use the term good loosely as that meant only 4-5 migraines a month versus the bad times of daily migraines. No medicine helped for longer than a day and the pain was effecting my daily life and my ability to care for my child. I first visited Dr Green 6 years ago with neck and back issues. I had never been to a Chiropractor so I was apprehensive at first. Dr Green was great at removing any apprehensions and educated me as to what he was doing and why. Dr green went over some short and long-term treatment options. I opted to not just treat the symptoms but work on a long term solution and maintenance program. Dr Green also helped with advice on lifestyle changes work posture adjustments to help improve my condition. I have been back to Dr Green every couple of weeks for 6 years and have maintained the flexibility he improved with his treatment. My first visit started with an in-depth exam and X-rays, which I did not get from my other office. Green Chiropractic has EARNED my five stars and then some! I had scoliosis surgery in 2004 and have 12 of my vertebrae fused, so I am a difficult adjustment! I came in with headaches and Dr. Green not only improved them, he listened and respected my wishes to visit medical doctors as well. Yes, they want you to come consistently and often, but as a health care practitioner myself, I understand their rationale for treating a problem that took years to develop. I was a 3-4 per week migraine sufferer, until I decided that I no longer wanted to live the rest of my life taking drugs to prevent them, drugs to treat them, and then drugs to treat the affects of those drugs. I went to Green chiropractic for some upper back/neck problems x rays were done that showed my spine curving forward. I mentioned that I was having problems with vertigo (dizziness ) also for 2 years. My neck issue was quickly resolved. But what I didn't expect was for my vertigo to also improve ! You don't just get a quick adjustment . They spend time stretching and retraining your muscles to hold you in the proper position . I went to this chiropractor clinic after an accident with a tractor and my low back was killing me. My girlfriend goes there too, so recommended them. This place did an exam full exam with xrays, and testing. I've never had xrays before and it was really an eye opener as to what my spine looks like and how I have abused myself. I am a farmer, so I guess it comes with the job. The doc cracked me on my side a couple times and stretched me on some kind of table. I haven't felt this good in a long time.
