Mr. Christopher Jergonson, operating under the business name Qwikfix, responded to our inquiry. After interviewing several candidates, we chose to hire him. We entered into a signed contract with him on August 1, 2024, and paid a $4,300 deposit by check, which he promptly cashed. Following that, our attempts to reach him were mostly unsuccessful. He offered a range of excuses for the delays and repeatedly promised to start work soon. In January, he finally sent someone who dug up part of our yard, only to leave it in worse condition. The work was never completed, and he has since disappeared. After doing more research, we learned that Mr. Jergonson has a troubling history of fraudulent behavior. He has a past conviction for securities fraud and has been barred from that field in New York. It now appears he resides in Polk County, where he continues to exploit unsuspecting clients. Even more concerning, I've since spoken with several others who've had similar experiences -- paying him deposits for work he never completed, or receiving substandard results. He was also arrested in Polk County in November 2024 for failing to perform contracted work and for impersonating a licensed contractor. Please be cautious -- this man has a pattern of deceiving people. He is not to be trusted!! ****UPDATE**** Lindsey Jorgenson, the wife of Christopher Jorgenson, has taken to harassing his former clients by calling and badgering them directly. Her behavior further demonstrates how they treat people who speak out about their experiences. To clarify: we have not lost any court case. When we appeared in criminal court in Hendersonville, the District Attorney informed us that the case would not be presented to the judge because it was difficult to prove criminal intent. We were advised to pursue the matter in small claims court, which we absolutely intend to do. Christopher's attorney, initially offered a $2,000 settlement on his behalf. However, that offer was immediately withdrawn once it became clear the DA would not move forward with the criminal case. To this date almost a year later we have never got any money back from Chris. Lindsey's aggressive and vindictive behavior is telling, especially given her silence on her husband's criminal history. It's deeply concerning to see how far they are willing to go to silence dissatisfied clients. Please think twice before doing any business with these individuals.

Con - After paying him a deposit, the project didn't start for several months. He was extremely unresponsive when we tried to confirm a start date. On the first day of work, he ignored our clear markings and did not lay out the project as requested. Wanting to avoid delays, we let it slide--this was the first major red flag we overlooked. What followed were months of mistakes, poor workmanship, repeated failed inspections, and minimal progress--some weeks his team only worked a single day. It became increasingly clear he was unqualified for the job. He showed complete disregard for our time, money, and property. When I finally confronted him about the ongoing issues, he responded by yelling at me. What should have been a one-month project dragged on for four months. In the end, we hired another team to complete the final phase, and they finished the job in just five days, with 3 people including all inspections. **I am a real customer. Chris J. did the work. Never met Lindsey J. but that doesn't mean that I wasn't a customer and my experience isn't 100% honest, true and legit. I also see that after my review, the Yelp page changed as well as the name of the business from Qwik Fix to Quick Fix....Interesting.
