Also lectured about how free shipping doesn't exist so I should know my order was a pickup even though it say it no where on my order confirmation ( I guess it says it on the one the store sees, but that doesn't help me as the customer) Mindy the manager was not willing to help me. She was condescending and just kept saying it is the websites companies fault or my fault. Go elsewhere if you can. He wasn't trying to hock his most expensive pair, though; he showed me what was on the wall and then the massive clearance rack, which had a remarkable selection. Their prices were already lower than Dick's, and the selection was solid. I settled on a pair of Pumas that were well below my price range with a great fit. Bottom line is that you're getting solid selection from knowledgeable staff for low prices. I can't think of a way to beat that.

Weights are priced by the pound (not labeled) with a slight variation in new vs used. The store was a bit hard to navigate, and I circled around a few times before I found the weights. I will say, that while the price was fair, I think it's equivalent or less to buy new, so I will probably just hit Target next time.

SUNFLOWERS -- A mason jar could be purchased at the entrance of the flower field but I didn't buy a mason jar. I just used my hands to hold the flowers as I picked them. FOOD -- The farm sells food and drinks but I didn't look at any of the offerings since my friend brought her own food for her birthday party. I believe they have typical fast food such as burgers and fries. This is a great family-friendly farm to visit in Wooster. I saw a-lot of kids running around and having a good time. They have barrel rides, pedal cars, corn maze, straw maze, corn bin, sand pit, playground, etc. You can pay extra to pick flowers, pick apples, or use the apple cannon. I wish the price was more inclusive. Like a family bundle that includes tickets, bag to apple pick, bucket of apples for the cannon, etc. then you just lay one price upfront. The apple cannon was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. The event says it is open until 6. At 5 we decided to head up to the food truck and to get donuts and everything was closed up. They had a small stand inside with hot dogs and kettle corn. The place was really beautiful with the flowers and corn field plus cute picnic areas.

My friends and I are in law school, and I thought that petting some baby goats would give us a…read moremuch-needed break from our studies. My birthday was coming up and seemed like the perfect opportunity for this idea, so I contacted Feels Like Home Farm to set up a private "snuggle session" for six people. I expected to meet the baby goats, pet some alpacas, and be on our way, but the experience was so much more than that! Marcus (one of the owners) gave our group a full tour of the farm and told us so many interesting things about the animals there. Marcus is a great tour guide and really made the experience for us (and has great travel tips). We all walked away knowing a lot more about the animals on the farm and what taking care of them entails. While I was there, I didn't think about law school once! We all had plenty of opportunities to hold the baby goats, which were even more adorable than I imagined they would be. We also fed the alpacas and met a lot of other animals (adult goats, guard dogs, guard geese, and various cats). If you love animals but cannot have your own farm, or if you are up for a unique experience in the Cleveland area, I highly suggest booking a tour and snuggle session at Feels Like Home Farms! I will be back for goat yoga :)

Also so unique - you're never going to have another party like this! b) Goat Yoga Events - they run community yoga classes on a somewhat-regular basis throughout the year (schedule is on the farm's website!) and they're a great way to get out and try something new with friends. Their instructor, Deanna Black, is an excellent teacher and make the class very unique. I've been doing yoga for years and I'm kind-of a yoga snob....and I freaking love Deanna. Great way to support a local farm! If I could give Alissa (and her family), Deanna, the farm, the goats, the class, and the entire experience 1,000,000,000 stars, I would. I'll call out a couple things, although the list of positives is far too long to write: 1) The farm: Is STUNNING. LOTS of land and very peaceful. They have ~50 goats, primarily 4 different breeds. All are happy, healthy, ADORABLE, and super friendly. They also have 2 awesome dogs, a CUTE LITTLE PIG named Dottie (omg!), and happy ducks waddling around. Their neighbors let us meet their CRAZY-COOL mini donkeys, cows, and pigs! I honestly never wanted to leave. Alissa and her husband took us on a tour of the farm and taught us all about their animals!! It was AWESOME! 2) The people: Alissa, her husband, and her daughters were unbelievably passionate about what they do at the farm, loving towards their animals, and so excited to share their farm with us. Alissa was INCREDIBLY responsive to all of my requests, and personalized literally EVERY little thing about the party. She was very creative, and thought of ideas I NEVER would have (like bringing in a local food truck!). I interact with a lot of business owners through Yelp, and Alissa has been by far the most fun and passionate one yet. 3) The Yoga: If you want a good workout, Deanna's class is great. She is also EXCELLENT at leading guided meditations. I was so relaxed and present by the end of class. Deanna is also AWESOME at incorporating acro-yoga into her classes. We did some CRAZY moves I've never done before (see my pictures!) 4) Convenient location - The farm is only about 25 - 30 minutes from Ohio City and an easy drive. We had no issues with parking at all. HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for making this such an unbelievably unique experience that none of us will forget!

The CLE Browns have the Worst OWNER and WORST COACH Kevin Stefanski in the NFL. They have the best tuning back in the NFL (NICK CHUBB) and he rides the pine. Stefanski would rather pass on first down than give the ball to Chubb. Then he will play Hunt in the Red Zone instead of Nick Chubb. He will NOT wear the defense down. Today Stefanski actually put Chubb in against the Ravens in the REd Zone,. AMAZIN. Chubb Scored. Chubb had only 7 carry's in the first half against Baltimore. TERRIBLE Often Stefanski goes for it on 4th down in our own territory, rarely he gives it to Chubb and he often gives the ball up. In addition, The Cleveland Browns defense is terrible and cannot stop the run. ranked 24th in stopping the run. The tailgating scene there was a lot of fun. We parked in the municipal lot , which is located on the other side of the freeway from the stadium. Entry fee was fifty dollars , but with a carload of people , it makes it very reasonable. The party there was next level. People set up bars with couches , stripper poles, d j booths , and anything else you can think of. They get going way before game time. Alcohol is allowed in this lot. If you park in the lot associated with the stadium , alcohol is not allowed. I don't think grills are allowed either.But I'm not sure. Stadium is really decent also. Easy in and out the walk from the municipal lot takes about ten minutes and is not strenuous. Packers ended up losing the game and the fans were very nice about it. That's not always the case in other stadiums. I took at least 50 photos with opposing fans after the game. Rock and Roll hall of fame is also located right next to the stadium. If you're heading there for a game , you have to combine that with your visit. Pro football hall of fame is only an hour away.And also a really great experience. Appreciate the love and kindness shown by the people of Cleveland. GO PACK GO!!!!!

Like other…read morecities in the Midwest, Cleveland has the luxury of putting its stadiums in/next to downtown, making it super walkable from the city center. Very convenient. The stadium itself has a great layout, with a field below ground level that almost makes it feel like a minor league park (with better views for fans). There's no shortage of concession stands, both in the open area closer to the entrance gates AND in the corridor directly behind the seating. Having two sections feels like a good way to keep fans moving when closer to seats, instead of letting concession lines interfere with the flow of foot traffic. Great experience here overall, except for the teams on the field. Good ballpark!

Getting into the arena for an event is easy and expedited well. I usually don't have to wait long…read morein line to get through the security check and ticket line. There is a variety of seating and food stations spread throughout the arena. Getting your food doesn't take long and is quick. The availability of staff to help is abundant. Leg room in the seats is less in the upper bowl than the lower bowl. I'm 5'9" and in the upper bowl I have just enough room. They can improve by adding more escalators to and from the upper bowl. When leaving a Cavaliers game at the end of the game a long line forms to ride the escalators down. There are other ways down. The elevators are as crowded as. The stairs lead to outside and so those heading to Tower City via the walking bridge need to take the escalators unless they take the stairs, go outside, and then come back in the entrance by the stairs leading to the walking bridge. Also, the escalator that goes from the walking bridge to the arena is broken down a lot.

It's a no bottle facility, but they don't have faucets, so you have to buy a bottle of water for $7, only for them to dump into cup. Seems wasteful. Lots of plastic waste. It's like they want us to be microplastic humans. And then you're at risk of someone spiking your water. Beware of creeps. -You may need to take out a loan to purchase food here. Swensons - $25 for a burger? What the helli? I could drive to the farm and go get my own burger for cheaper. -the ticket "gatekeepers" will not move. They will block your view. They're unhinged.

An afternoon of beers, food, and friends in Lincoln Park ? What could go wrong ?…read more My first beer festival and I was a bit disappointed. Note, this isn't a beer tasting. It's a beerfest where most people were getting drunk. You likely won't have the chance to chat with the rep. pouring the beer, there was a line of 5+ people behind you waiting for their beer. I was in VIP [thanks brother-in-law!] which for some amount (I think he paid a discounted $60/ticket, through a groupon), offered a private VIP area with a food station, our own port-o-potties, food from BRGR9, and 2 additional beer stations (of Goose Island), a covered tent, and seats (thanks to the Lincoln Park). Excellent food by BRGR9 ! They had the complimentary food (burgers, homemade corn dogs - the first corn dog that I've ever liked - the breading was homemade and light, salad, mac and cheese with sundried tomatoes and bacon - awesome]. Now, water for us ? A staffer told us water should be available but promised it was on the way and it came around 2-3p. For the proletariat non-VIPs, there were 5-6 food vendors, and water for $2. Besides the food and booze, there was a volleyball net and a handful of vendors in Lincoln Park. Next time, they should use a larger portion of the park because people were crowding around each other and near the beer lines. Although the Scene promotes other events around town town, they could have promoted their own event better. Their website, their facebook event, the latest copy of their paper magazine and the ticket itself didn't even include information like whether there was a rain date, whether any seating available (the only seating was on the grass unless you were in VIP), whether there was reentry [there was not], and what was exactly included in the VIP package. The beer selection ? Decent. They promoted the event as featuring 100+ brews, and I thought they were likely just right around that number, a little under it maybe. Many from local microbreweries, a few big 'micro' ones (new castle, sam adams, yuengling), don't think any of them were from Europe besides Delirium and New Castle. None of the brews as far as I know were exclusive or limited editions, but there still many of them that I didn't have yet. On the positive side, they had enough porta-potties, the volunteers and beer reps were nice. The lines to get the beer weren't bad, I usually waited 3-5 minutes each time but they could also improve on that. Unfortunately by 4:45 PM, with over an hour left of the event, nearly all but 1 or 2 stations were out of beer. We left about 45 minutes before it ended, all of the places were out of beer. Did I have a good time ? Yes. Would I pay that much again ? Nope. I'll try brewzilla or krusty's next time instead, hopefully they wouldn't run of beer there. If you're interested in going next year, bring your own water, get there early, and bring chairs if you want to sit.

There were about 30 beer vendors at the event, each with a few varieties of their brews. Some local brews were present such as Brew Kettle, Portside, and Cellar Rats to name a few. You'll certainly find your favorite type of ale here. There was also a Tito's booth that was serving cocktails. Although they were a bit on the weaker side, its nice having another drink choice other than beer. Yelp was also present. My friends and I made pretzel necklaces which we snacked during the fest. I was told that pretzel necklaces are a tradition at this event. There were people who brought their own necklaces with large pretzels! Reading the reviews from previous years, it seems like running out of beer was the main concern, it wasn't an issue this year. The admission included 10 tickets for samples, some vendors didn't even ask/take the tickets. I had 4 tickets left at the end of the day and I couldn't drink anymore. My only complaint was that the booths should have signs ABOVE the vendors and not on the tables. It was a bit difficult finding the vendors within each booth/area. Looking forward to it next year and hopefully it'll be dry and sunny!

I have now seen the Cleveland Opera Theater perform in a few contexts including a spring main stage production at the Maltz Performing Arts Center and a free outreach performance in a local park. They also have an "Opera in Alternative Venues" series which I find brilliant. I love the idea of activating unusual spaces with powerful talent, and pairing it with elegant activities like fine dining. Whether you consider yourself an aficionado or a true beginner of opera, COT makes valid strides to make opera accessible. They do this through reasonably priced and often free performances, community programming like Opera Club, and even logistical helpers such as translations during performances. Don't let opera discourage you, give the Cleveland Opera Theater a visit and you will not regret it!

I'm not huge on Italian food, but the marinara smelled so good! I got a meatball sub while my friend ordered an Italian sausage with one meatball. Delicious! It doesn't interest me to come back to the festival, but I'd come back to the neighborhood to try a restaurant. It's just too chaotic. And it seemed better to have cash. We had gotten food from Trattoria. They took credit card but discouraged cards since there would be an additional $2 fee. It's interesting to know the history of this neighborhood. It surrounds the Catholic Church. They were reciting the rosary as we we were there. Not a bad event to check out! Just didn't seem to have tons of seating for you to hang around.

BRING SOME CASH!! I…read morethink anyone who goes to Cleveland should try out the Feast of Assumption if they're at the area. The feast happens every year during early August. Check out Corbo's stall. They take credit cards, and have a wide variety of food from spaghetti to cassata cakes. The other stalls range from mundane things like lemonade to frog legs or mussels. Drink options are surprisingly limited. There's a carnival area where all the drunk frat girls frequent, and the typical comfort food stall that sells cotton candy and caramelized apples. There's also a hole in the wall for gambling if you walk toward the carnival. But to me, the Feast of Assumption brings nothing new to the table since I've already been to Little Italy. Most food sold at the feast has a jacked up price. I paid $9 for a bowl of basic spaghetti and a meatball. If you're religious, then you'll be happy that money went to the church that sponsers this event. But if you care nothing for charity, then just go to these restaurants during a normal week for bigger portions. Parking is awful. Little Italy is blocked off, so forget about parking close by. I'm glad I stayed nearby. Prepare to fork over at least $10 for parking.

It really got you in the Christmas spirit. There was a ton of gourmet food to go around all night long. 20 drink tickets was plenty since they were giving pretty good pours on the wine and beer. My only con would be that there was no coat check so we were stuck carrying around our winter jackets. Who knew since the day before it was 75 degrees, only in Ohio right?! Other than that, I had a great time!

I've been looking at all of the drink and food festivals happening around town the next few months…read moreso it was awesome to score tickets for this event. And to be hosted in the State Theatre at Playhouse Square, classy! My friend and I were dropped off and picked up so we didn't have to worry about drinking and driving especially since the snow hit that night, but how fitting for the Winter Fest! Tickets are $55 plus a $6 something fee. You get 20 alcohol samples and no restriction on food samples. Crowd seemed to be in the 30 and up club. Pros: -Lots of food samples and generous portion sizes for most. -Got to try drink and food samples from places I had not been to before. -Generous alcohol samples, they always filled my glass to the top. -Love the huge Christmas tree and other holiday decorations (I'm looking at you Mr. Reindeer man!) Cons: -Music kept getting shut off then turned off completely. Killed the mood a little as all you heard then was the loud humming of everyone talking. -No coat check so you had to hold onto your coat or secretly stuff it behind the Christmas tree and hope no one steals it. -Pretty crowded, lots of people sitting on the steps so you had to be careful squeezing past them. -Not enough high top tables to set your cup and plate on so you could enjoy things. Having to hold everything, try to consume it, and not bump into people was a little rough and awkward. I know for me, this caused some clumsy food spills a couple of times. -Would have preferred more wine options. I think there were only three wine tables? We only used 10 drink tickets because there wasn't much we wanted to try or keep going back to. All in all, glad I got the opportunity to check this event out! But, we ended up leaving before it was over, and unfortunately I would probably check out a different holiday food and drink event next year.
