Back again this year. Park was still well kept and discovered a few additions: new foods, and a family bathroom that is large enough to include a stroller. This is terrific - and saves moms from wrestling it in cramped quarters or leaving it outside while they take care of everything. Parking is good, and they let us drop off the two members of our party on crutches close to the front desk. Saved them both a lot of walking, which was very appreciated. read more

Wonderful baseball! Outstanding atmosphere! As a former broadcaster, I've been to a lot of stadiums between New York and Texas over the past 30-some-odd years. While I've never had a bad experience at a baseball game, Forefront and the Crushers are among the standouts. The Crushers are a Frontier League team. It's independent, which means many of the players here have either never made it to the MILB, or they did and it didn't work out like they wanted. In other words, they are playing their butts off to make it to the next level. Whether it's baseball, hoops, hockey or football, players at this level tend to warm my heart and feed my appetite for excellent competition. Besides, lower level baseball is just flat-out fun. Though I always root for the home team, it was a little different this time around, as the family of Evansville's starting pitcher was sitting right next to me. His name was Ben, and I found myself cheering for him as well. He was small by MLB standards, and his pitching was a mixed bag. Still, like everyone else on the field, he was living a dream. I was certainly honored to see it. As for Forefront Field, it's small with nary a bad seat in the house. The beer selection is as good as any ballpark, and the hot dogs were divine. The mascot here, Stomper, is a real trooper. The poor dude had to be sweating his rear end off, but he still played along with the crowd. If I lived in these neck of the woods, I'd be a season ticket holder. This is wonderful family entertainment, and the baseball playing is clutch. read more

We came to the game for a Girl Scouts event... we were sitting along 3rd baseline behind the players. The girls were actually super excited for the game until they lost interest due to the players walking back and forth, practicing directly in our view of the game, and the kids who kept running up to the players asking for autographs.. which was kind of cute until it never ended and they would stand right in front of us.. the line at the concession stand took forever and was so long... up side was the staff was super nice and food was hot! There was a few things skits/dancing events going on but because where we sat we could not hear and we didn't feel engaged.. if we go again definitely going to stay away from section 116.. read more

What a great little gem in Avon. This was our first visit since we are new here and we are happy to have a great park to see baseball games. The $3 parking fee is reasonable and seats are not expensive. Take your stadium cushion as the seats are hard. The park is clean and employees are nice. On Tuesday's much of the food is $2, but otherwise it's not overly priced. We got seats right behind home plate, but found the netting to be too thick as we couldn't see the balls once they were hit. Next time we will choose a different seat location. Also, no beverage holders on the seat backs. Overall, nice venue, very clean and inviting. read more

A gem of a place in the Cleveland area, but with a great small town feel. Awesome place to take in a baseball game. Food is great (although I'm sad they got rid of the tater tots with awesome sauce!) they have great specials at every game, along with fun activities for the kiddos. Very impressed with the overall experience here. The stadium feels new, top quality all around. Seats are large and comfortable and restrooms are clean. Concessions aren't major league expensive but are still a touch pricier than I'd expect for frontier league. Parking is $4 but the lot is close. When it comes to minor league baseball parks, this is one of the best. A good looking, well-kept park is always a fine experience. But when you combine that with an amazing time that can be enjoyed by children, families and adults all at the same time you've got yourself a winner. All Pro Freight Stadium is home to the Lake Erie Crushers and their cleverly named mascot Stomper. They have fun and games between the innings to keep everyone entertained and Baseball Bingo for fans during the game. There is a true community spirit here in Avon. I was able to score a couple seats directly behind home plate at a very affordable price. And while we enjoyed being so close we were almost calling all the pitches, I also liked the Picnic Plaza along the third base line. It was a nice place to relax and have a snack but also still had a great view of the game. Take advantage of APFS if you can! read more

Had a great time this evening at the stadium. Be prepared and have cash, every thing is cash only and parking is $4. Food prices are very reasonable and the menu is vast. There are many activities for the young ones before the game, in between innings and a kick ball game on the field after the game. There is a bouncy house area, it it is $1-5 depending on how you want to participate. There are plenty of restrooms with no lines and they are very clean. read more

This stadium may not draw the kind of crowd that Progressive field pulls. This place may not showcase the high rollers of MLB. What this stadium offers is a family friendly all non-smoking festive environment with players who truly love to play baseball. The stadium offers box seats as well as tables all of which are at a fraction of cost. My first visit allowed me to have 4 seats right by first base 2 rows from the field. The price was a fraction of Progressive. They have the usual ball park food in 3 different food stands. Alcohol is served as well. Each game has many interactive activities. Attendees get to participate in different races for prizes, pose with Stamper the mascot, there are baseballs to be caught, there's even a large blow up jumping section for the kiddies ( $2 ). Parking is cheap and many. There's family friendly lawn sitting for making a picnic out of your visit. At the end of the game, they even let the kiddies run the bases with or without the parents. some games are even followed by fireworks. The players are serious about their game and Brian g great quality in their game. These guys really love what they do and it shows. Some of these players, IMHO, play better than some of the major leaguers I've seen. You will definitely enjoy the game. Your family will definitely enjoy the time. Having seen the stadium from the Ohio Turnpike on my trips to Cleveland & beyond, I had to make it a point to attend a game recently. Since the team has its seating chart available online, I was able to find two seats in the front row along the third base line in an otherwise sold out stadium on a Friday night. The parking is ample and exceptionally well organized getting into the park (going out 'tho was "every man for himself"). The field is artificial grass w/o dirt sliding areas around the bases which seemed strange. Postgame fireworks were very good for the minor league park & the availabilty of concessions was customer-friendly considering the size of the crowd. read more

This baseball park is a jewel in Lorain County and the Lake Erie Crushers baseball team (part of the "unaffiliated" Frontier League) is a joy to watch. The stadium is very intimate and there's not a bad seat in the house. We've been there 3-4 times since the park opened in 2009... and have enjoyed the games in centerfield (no seats but it's a big grassy hill for $6 bucks), in box seats ($9-14 bucks), but our favorite seats are the table top seating areas. These include a nice raised table top, 4 seats and waiter service... table tops are perched nicely along the 1st and 3rd base lines (sold as a package for $64). We haven't tried the Club-level yet ($18 bucks) but that will be the next outing. Clevelanders can take some heart in finding a winning team in the area, as the Crushers won the Frontier League Championship last year. Add pretty good concession food, wacky fan stunts and fairly regular fireworks nights and you can't find a better way to spend a hot Summer night on the North Coast of America. read more

This is a well-done modern small ballpark. The employees are grateful for your patronage, and the baseball seems a bit more pure when you don't have to take out a mortgage to catch a game and sling down some brews. I've seen both college and unaffiliated pro games here, and I can't say I like the artificial surface, but I understand it from a maintenance and cost perspective. For how small it is, they do a nice job on concessions, which are pretty standard but not too expensive. Any and all seats are on top of the action -- if you're not behind the netting, keep your head up at all times. Aside from the surface, my only real complaint is the $3 parking charge for the privilege of parking on a horrible boulder-strewn gravel lot. I've been dodging that lately by riding my bike. read more

The park itself is a really nice place to spend afternoon at watching a baseball game. There really is no bad place to sit because you get a pretty good view of the action from any seat. Cheap ticket prices are pretty nice too. Never had a bad experience the few times that i've been to the stadium and i plan on making a return trip there sometime soon. read more

What a great night out! Caught the Lake Erie Crushers game at All Pro Freight Stadium last night. Parking, two tickets, a couple sandwiches, pretzel, soda and a beer for a little over $45. We couldn't see a movie with popcorn and soda for that! The food was good, stadium clean, staff helpful and the home team won! read more

This was a very nice stadium that I would give 5 stars to. My seats along the third base line were nice. My only complaint is the concessions. You want to buy your food before the game. During the game your easily waiting half an hour to one hour in the concessions. This is probably because they only have 2 stands. Overall nice ballpark. read more
