This time we stayed in December so it was too chilly for outdoor activities but the resort was sooooo cozy with all of the wood burning fireplaces crackling and the spa is incredible no matter the outdoor temperature. Impeccable service and delicious food rounded out our stay. Hopefully it won't be another 8 years between visits!

We stayed here because we were looking for a dog friendly place. The owner allows dogs and there is a neighborhood with a little park (and dog park! -- right next to the tiny airport) within walking distance to take your dogs. We felt the rooms were safe, comfortable, clean, updated. No complaints! Oh except we wished there had been like 1 extra blanket. If we go to Page again I'll definitely try to book a room here. I don't remember how much we paid, but it was nothing unreasonable.

This is an old motel that has been updated it is impeccably clean. The furniture is a little mismatched, but very comfortable. The kitchen in our unit was a full kitchen with all of the necessary implements. There was a full-size washer dryer. Admittedly the motel looks a little dumpy from the outside and I was a bit disappointed at first, but once I opened the door and saw the unit, I was very glad that we were going to be spending our time at Lake Powell at this little gem.

Stayed a few nights here in August on both ends of a rafting/camping trip through the Grand Canyon…read more I had an excellent stay both times - very comfortable and clean rooms, wonderfully warm staff, decent prices, and an incredible location inside the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument! It's a bit of a remote location (which I loved) but the lodge has everything you could possibly need - a really great on-site restaurant, general store, gas station, and they even do their own guided fishing trips and kayak rentals complete with backhaul drop offs to a launch point of your choice. And even though you're a bit of a captive audience, their prices are surprisingly pretty reasonable - even for the gas! The lodge is currently split into two sections - one has been recently renovated and one hasn't. I stayed in a double queen room in the renovated section and a single king room in the non-renovated section. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and very cozy - but I definitely prefer the renovated rooms - simply because they have a superior bathroom layout/shower - The shower in the non-renovated room was very rudimentary- almost like one you'd find in an RV - and there was very little counterspace. And the TVs include an option to log into your streaming apps to watch your fave shows. But the beds were both very comfortable in both rooms - the mattresses felt very supportive but not overly hard - seemed like temperpedic quality. The decor in the renovated rooms is very desert-cowboy-chic - but the non-renovated room was super retro - more like a 70s spaghetti western style lol. There are refrigerators and Keurig coffee makers in all the rooms - renovated and non-renovated alike. All the rooms have outside patio seating but it's not private. I was next to the restaurant in the non-renovated room and was worried it might be too loud but I didn't hear a thing - it was peaceful and quiet! Speaking of the restaurant- the food is absolutely fantastic! I ate two dinners here and a breakfast and loved it all. They also have a unique dessert - avocado pie! Highly recommend! Everything here is family owned and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and fully intend to return bc there's SO much to explore in the area - especially if you love the desert outdoors!

By far the best aspect of the lodge was the guide we hired to help us fish Lees Ferry. His name was Shane and he was incredibly experienced. It was my first time fly fishing and he taught me to cast, mend, and set the hook. We caught more fish before noon than I did on my last fishing trip. Shane knew every spot to visit to get the trout biting. The food at the lodge was also incredible. I ate one of the best patty melts I've had and the breakfast burritos hit the spot before a fishing trip. I also can't give the sweet potato fries high enough praise. They had the perfect amount of crunch and salt I look for in a fry with that same sweet potato taste. If you stop in; try the avocado pie! The lodge is absolutely worth a visit. Stay a night, try out the restaurant, try to book Shane if you can, and fish until your arm gets tired!

Located off Hwy 89 between Kenab, UT and Page, Az, this is a homestead hidden from the road on a hill overlooking the beauty of the rocky terrain of the surrounding area. THE VIEW Jaw-dropping, amazing view of the majestic mountainous rock formations in the area. The home sits on top a hill which has amazing 360 views. THE PROPERTY This home sits in a sizable property with multiple buildings and hills to explore. The owner's family stayed in one of the buildings behind us. I am not sure if large groups are allowed to occupy multiple buildings but you can ask. There is a horse ranch next door. The owner has planted grapes nearby and is trying to perfect a local wine. There aren't many restaurants or stores nearby. Plan on driving 30min to Page, Arizona or 40 min to Kenab, Utah. We are in Page. They have some great Mexican restaurants and the Dam Bar and Grille was enjoyable. The home has a small kitchen with fridge, stove, and microwave. Cups, silverware and dishes provided. Internet is provided along with Netflix. However the Hughs internet was not reliable. Owner said he plans to upgrade to the new Starlink service soon which is available now. The home sleeps two in the main bedroom and a futon in living room can sleep another one, maybe two children. There is also an inflatable mattress that can be used. THE HOST Joe is the current owner and met us at the turnoff on Hwy 89 at mile marker 21. I questioned why this was necessary in the day of GPS but the private roads had many turns and options and Joe made it easy to navigate. He is very friendly, personally showed us the property and shared about the surrounding area, including trails and stores. There isn't much located within a half hour drive. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS There are trails and rock formations nearby, making this an amazing destination. Most popular is the bucket list stop called "The Wave". Just Google it and see the beauty. You must get permits in advance so read up carefully. The wave isn't for the faint of heart (need decent 4-wheel drive just to gain access to trail). Easy hikes nearby are the Nautilus located at the Paria Contact Station next door. There aren't any signs for the amazing cave formation so stop in at the office for directions. No fees required. Also just down the road is the Toadstool, which is a must when staying here. It's only a 0.9 mile hike one way (total 1.8mi round trip). The hike was amazing and the toadstool rock formations were incredible. It's only 1.25 hour trip to Zion National Park and 2.5 hr to Grand Canyon (east gate, the less crowded entrance). I can't say enough about this epic vacation rental. Don't hesitate staying here. It's truly magical.

Checked in and tried to adjust the heater for 72 and it never went up. It was cold that night. Stayed in the low 60's. Told management and they just gave me an extra electric heater with some extra blankets. How am I to heat up this crappy place with three rooms and living with two small electric heaters? Then the blankets I was given had stains on them. Found a nice brown stain on one of them. Maybe chocolate? Who knows!? Dont let the floors/carpet fool you. They look clean, but don't let that fool you. My kids took off their shoes and and walked around for a bit, we noticed their feet were black. Shoes went back on. Then my sister went to her room and found toenail clippings on the ground. That was it. We contacted our the booking service (Airbnb) and cancelled our stay for the night. Now fast forward a week, this place has the pettiness to charge me for a night when we didn't even stay the night. Had to call my bank for an unauthorized transaction. Management admitted to mistakes and still charges. STAY AWAY!!

But in fact, the owners have been doing it professionally for 3 years; it's just that they have other jobs during the week and just get the overflow from other B&B. Very authentic and great experience.
