I told them look, you are gonna charge me if the trash is over the line, if it weighs too much etc...but im telling you to come get this thing, i cant babysit this dumpster. He says oh no problem dont worry about it, i got you. So fast forward a MONTH later, they charge me 100 bucks for the weight being 100lbs over. A hundred lbs...not a thousand, but a hundred. I call and say hey, this very concern i had whwn you guys left it at my house for 10 extra days....is now happening. Now advancing in years, we've long planned of getting to this major whole house clean-out to save family the eventual burden but those well laid plans were completely derailed by serious illness shortly after the dumpster arrived. With no man-sized "muscle" available to continue the heavy lifting. I've needed to call for several extensions to accommodate my petite lady-size trips to the dumpster. Each call was personally answered or returned by Dave (Tidy Bug owner) who has been a most helpful and supportive voice on the other end of tbe phone while working with me to allow more time to keep filling the dumpster before coming to haul it away. This has been an incredible relief to us in a stressful time as we've needed to rely on the good will and limited schedules of others. The dumpster still isn't full, but after a few more days we hope to finally be rid of years of old furniture, worn out patio fixtures and the rest of the clutter we'd so hate to leave behind. Lastly, I'd like to express my appreciation for the kindness and mood-lift I felt each time when ending a call with Dave. I hope he did a great job for my sister's neighbor, but I wouldn't want an unhinged person who threatens to shoot innocent animals working on my property. Edit: correct, I was not there, but I spend a lot of time with my sister and her dog. He is a beloved pet, not a guard animal. She never said he was for protection, she said he acts that way because it's him being protective. He wasn't in a rage. He has a big bark and doesn't like strangers, so can be intimidating, but he was let out to go potty, not to bark at you. A dog barking is no reason to call for threats of shooting, period. And I stated my review was here to inform people of your unhinged threats, not to comment on your work. Your work AND how you show up as a person both reflect on your business, and I think it's important for people to know this happened before choosing to hire you, especially if they or their neighbors have animals who don't behave to your standards.
