Wonder Wife and I were in the market for some bedroom furniture and spent a little time wandering through the different displays. As is the case with any furniture store, there were pieces we really liked and some we thought were pretty ugly. The service we received was very good and although we purchased some clearance items out of a set, they were very willing to allow us to pick and choose what we wanted and gave us very good prices. We also saw a wonderful piece of wall art which we also asked about and they knocked about 25% off of it since we were buying other stuff. The prices are expensive if you're used to buying at American Furniture Warehouse, and they're astronomical if you're used to buying IKEA particle board stuff. But, you get what you pay for. Now that most of the kids are gone, we want to start getting good stuff, and that's what we got. Delivery was $79 and worth every nickel. They arranged the furniture the way we asked, mounted mirrors, assembled the bed frame, etc. And the guys were super nice.

We picked this fabric because we have two large dogs that get on the furniture. We were told that just getting on the furniture would not tear or snag the fabric. On day one when the couch arrived our smaller dog of the two jumped on the couch as normal and it snagged in several different places. I called the store and tried to talk to a manager but wasn't given one. The salesman put in a request for their "fabric expert" to come out to the house and see if we had been given defective fabric. He deemed the fabric to be of normal quality. We also had feathers upon feathers poking out and coming out of the couch. He told us that after 2 weeks that would stop. We were also concerned about the comfort of the couch. It was very stiff and uncomfortable compared to what we sat on in the store. To this he said it just needed time to "wear in". Here we are a little over two years later and we are not any more satisfied than when we got the couch! We went to Woodleys because we wanted a quality couch and if something went wrong they had a warranty to take care of us. We asked several questions about this when we bought this couch to be sure it would be taken care of. Nothing could be farther from the truth! We bought it during a sale and still spent about $4k on it! Or more like wasted $4k! As you can see in the pics the cushions have not faired well! They did not keep their shape whatsoever! The back cushions sag and have little balls all over them that have to be shaved regularly (advice i was given by the salesman and the "fabric expert"). We have kept the bottom covered since day one when it snagged to protect it as best as we can. But even with covering it the bottom cushions too have balls of fabric and worst of all have lost their shape! They sag and have flattened out significantly on the corners so you sit in holes between the cracks of the cushions and you literally can feel the frame under you! They say to clean with water only which does NOT clean at all! We are so disappointed with this purchase and hope to warn others never to buy anything from these crooks! Also the pile of feathers is just what comes out of the couch DAILY! So what we were told about them stopping coming out after 2 weeks was also in fact a lie! Had we have known all this before buying this couch we wouldn't have spent ten cents on it! Buyer beware!!! Take your hard earned money somewhere else!!!

Very good communication about product availability and when the carpet that was very affordable arrived at the warehouse. I enjoyed shopping local with an experienced sales person, and not dealing with a big box store. The carpet selection was discussed with her and she helped in the decision. The high traffic area needed a certain type of carpet composition and didn't need to be 88 oz weighted carpet like in the rest of the house. Large selection of premium carpet and pad samples in the show room at economy to various diamond premium price points. Bought carpet during a holiday sale before the end of the year. Scheduling of install was easy and worked around our limited availability. The sale person even had the installers scheduled to move a upright 44 inch Baldwin piano and furniture into the garage. I felt appreciated for the purchase by installers and the main installer did an excellent job with the skim coat to smooth out a dip in the expansion seams and the other veteran installer fixed two creaky stairs. Very friendly and I would hire that team again. The team was quick but took the time to clean by the truck and all of the carpet strains near cuts off the floor and baseboards. Attention to detail and pride in finished product shows. I didn't have to clean up in the driveway or street , when install team left. Experienced staff and service. Will use this OBriens carpet one flooring on academy rd in colorado springs again. Thank you. I recommend this location to anyone looking for an excellent experience and careful handling of process from selection of flooring to final install and clean up.
