They advertise a free consultation so I made an appointment. I spent about 15 minutes filling out a form and provided detailed information. On the date of my appointment I was asked if I could come in early to which I agreed. I arrived on time only to be told my appointment was being delayed for 20 minutes - fine I went and occupied myself. I came back at the scheduled time only to be told that there was another delay. I advised them I could not wait and resented my time being wasted. There are 2 girls are reception 1 was heavy the other chubby. The heavy girl was apologetic and sympathetic. The chubby girl was not. So I left. After running an errand I came back to to see if I could schedule an appointment with another dentist since Dr. Lam had already wasted enough of my time. The chubby girl proceeded to speak to me in a condescending tone. She tried to say that sometimes appointments run over and blah blah...I attempted to relay the above she was not interested in hearing my position and kept cutting me off. See then continued on in her condescending tone saying that there may be fees involved as most dentists, in the process of consulting, would need to look at my teeth. I assured her I knew the difference between a consult and an exam and I was here for the free consultation that was advertised in the window. I was not here for an exam. I know what dental work I need. I was seeking specific advice and costs. She continued repeating her sales pitch in her negative holier that thou tone.
Visiting a dentist can be hard enough. I recommend you find a business that at least understands the basics of tone and respect. After all they'll be drilling into your face.
