The chubby girl was not. So I left. After running an errand I came back to to see if I could schedule an appointment with another dentist since Dr. Lam had already wasted enough of my time. The chubby girl proceeded to speak to me in a condescending tone. She tried to say that sometimes appointments run over and blah blah...I attempted to relay the above she was not interested in hearing my position and kept cutting me off. See then continued on in her condescending tone saying that there may be fees involved as most dentists, in the process of consulting, would need to look at my teeth. I assured her I knew the difference between a consult and an exam and I was here for the free consultation that was advertised in the window. I was not here for an exam. I know what dental work I need. I was seeking specific advice and costs. She continued repeating her sales pitch in her negative holier that thou tone. Visiting a dentist can be hard enough. I recommend you find a business that at least understands the basics of tone and respect. After all they'll be drilling into your face. Personally I'm taking my money elsewhere.

I ignored my own dental problems and the staff were non-judgemental which made the experience even better. I had pain for 2 days and didn't deposit my paycheck because I was in so much pain but had half the money to pay my bill immediately. I asked if I could run to the bank (as I was not in pain anymore, having my tooth removed) and they were so generous and said yes so I came back immediately to pay the other half!!! No where else would I ever expect this type of generosity!!! The whole experience was just fantastic!!!! Thanks to everyone at Markham Eglinton Dental Centre!!!
