They quoted her $2.40 ea., a little on the high end, but I'd seen the reviews and knew they'd do a great job. She picked my shirts up today and, at that time, was informed that the polo shirts were actually $5.00 ea., $2.60 ea. more than originally quoted. It was, I suppose, an honest mistake but one that we weren't prepared for. Had I known that I never would have left them. I spoke with the manager on the phone and he was pleasant but would not give any satisfaction other than excuses. I just wanted my $15.60 back. Wasn't gonna happen so I informed him that I felt his business practices were questionable and that this was also the last time I would trade there. Side note....they are not registered with the Better Business Bureau. No big surprise. The good news.... my shirts were done beautifully and I am very pleased with the quality of their service. Oops....update.....2 of 6 shirts came back missing collar buttons. In their defense, they did say the dress shirts were sent out.

It then goes up to $7.50 for a washer that's literally an inch bigger, and then goes up to a whopping $10.00 for one they claim washes 6 loads at once (I don't believe it.) I would NEVER use a machine that was priced at $10.00; it's pure insanity. As for the dryers, it's .25 cents for 5 minutes of drying time. The dryers don't work worth a penny, so each load will start you at $2.00, or more for heavier loads (like towels, for example). This is where you waste a lot of money. I was shocked that it took some of my linen loads $4.00 to actually get them dry. Like I said, what a joke! Since I just moved to Chatty, I thought I'd get all my bedding fresh and clean: blankets, comforters, sheets, and towels. Don't be like me and try to do that many loads of wash. No matter how many coins you bring to actually dry your clothes, it'll never be enough. If you do have to get a bunch of laundry done, I suggest you go somewhere else. I'll let you know when I find a great place, but this is not it. Skip this rip off laundromat.

This Laundromat rocks…read more Amazing number of machines for wash and dry. Same prices as at the place on Cherokee but sooo much better. Wide, clean, open space. Free Wi-Fi. Tables and chairs where you can sit and get on your computer, read, whatever while you wait. Or, you can go to the BiLo to grocery shop, in the same shopping center, while your goods are getting polished. #4 bus runs right to and from it, if you are coming or going from downtown or East Lake/HP. There are lots of washing machines and dryers. Plenty of tables and chairs and a clean bathroom. Trust me, no one like having to go to a laundromat, but this one makes it a bit easier. Try not to go on a weekend though, if you can help it. Gets very crowded.
