Much like Amelie up the road, this is the place for a nice cushion or a wedding present. Their window display is lovely and a lot of the stock looks homemade. The lady who runs it is very nice (even looking out for my bus for me whilst I rifled through their selection of greetings cards). The toys in particular seem good so definitely somewhere to visit before Christmas.

It's possible to fin some classic wooden bookshelves for only £60 and they have a range of products for living, dinning and bedrooms or even kids furniture that are just gorgeous. There was one massive catalogue but I'm sure nobody will spend time flicking through all of that and it's not the same as seeing the blind in real life. I liked their range as they had some blinds where you can twist a stick to open and others that are pulled. Customer service makes a big difference but it didn't here because there wasn't any! I was making lots of noise but nobody came. In fact the poster saying to do fitting gave me more information about the blinds than anything! The prices weren't advertised but that's probably good because blinds can be expensive.

It's a fascinating place - a proper antique furniture shop that is not in any way over-priced. I suspect that if this shop was in somewhere like Moseley, or Harborne, then the prices would rise accordingly, but as it's on a fairly run down strip of shops this really benefits the customer. I think they do house clearances, and Bourneville village is not far from this shop, and this is where there stock of lovely 1950s furniture must come from. Highly recommended if you are looking for unique and interesting furniture for your home.
