Northfield branch- *Customer service is poor. Ordered & paid over £200 for nets for my conservatory Which is overpriced. * was told nets would arrive in 3 weeks and took 6 weeks to come. I had call shop to find out if they had arrived. No courtesy call to tell me would be arriving late. * Worker at Northfield office was rude. * I do NOT recommend this shop. * Spend hard earned money elsewhere read more

I love coming into the shop to have a look around. If you are into fabrics for your home then I would recommend visiting this place as they have a wide collection of material styles and patterns. They sell a variety of curtains (which can be tailored to suit your requirements), cushion covers, tablecloths and other soft furnishings. The lady who works in there is ever so friendly and is full of advice when it comes to adjusting and sorting out lengths and all of that technical stuff. They also provide a home consultation service, so they can suggest ideas and inspire you and advice you accordingly as to what would look good in your home. The prices in here are not too steep either. I would definitely recommend this store if you are looking to give your home a bit of a makeover! read more

Want some posh curtains or a nice cushion cover? Clifton's is probably the place for you. I find it difficult to tear myself away from the fabric swatches outside - which feature some lovely 50s inspired patterns - but inside (which is surprisingly large) you'll find a similar array of material - anything from William Morris prints to SpongeBob Square pants. They do a bespoke service and are happy to make curtains up but to be honest I've always had a go myself or headed to the Rag Market in town so I can't vouch for this but cushions, doilies, tablecloths and towels can be found inside and although none of it is very cheap the fabric on offer here is good quality. read more
