They made clean cuts, showed good attention to safety, and clearly have experience working with large, established trees. The tree still has a strong structure, and it's clear they focused on reducing weight and maintaining safety, which is important with a tree of this size. The only reason I didn't give a full five-star review is that the pruning was slightly more aggressive than expected, particularly with some of the larger limbs. I would have preferred a more gradual approach to preserve a bit more of the natural canopy and shade. Overall, this is a knowledgeable and hardworking team, and I would absolutely consider using them again with a bit more detailed communication beforehand about the extent of trimming.

He showed up on time, did great work, cleaned up, and his price was competitive. I thought I had someone I could use going forward and refer to others in my community. Last week I called for him to remove two small tree/shrubs. I needed it done within the next few days, and I acknowledged that he might not be able to come on such short notice. He said he could come and I sent him photos of the two small trees along with a 5' palm tree that I was hoping he could add onto the project. He didn't respond to the text, but that was ok because I trusted that he'd come at 8:00 a.m. the next day, as planned. Jose never showed up, and he didn't respond to my phone calls and texts. The voice mail on the other end was in Spanish, and I couldn'tunderstand it. I thought perhaps it was saying something to the effect that someone was sick and they were behind in their work, something that would explain the no-show. No one called or texted. I'm very disappointed, but I will find someone else for my tree work going forward. He can do great work, but only if he shows up. When this kind of thing happens, it's a deal-killer for me. And I am very disappointed. I finally decided on 1 star, which is "not good," because 2 stars is "could have been better" and 3 stars is "ok." I waited to put out this review on the possible chance that he'd get back to me with an explanation and apology, but it hasn't happened.

The estimate was very reasonable and Mauricio understood exactly what we needed done. On the day of the job, there seemed to be a scheduling mix-up, and they did not show. While I was worried at first, I called Mauricio and he apologized for the error. He said he would have his crew come out the following day instead - a Saturday, and pretty close to the holidays. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job with the trees. Cleanup was great as well, I don't think any trimmings were left behind. As for the scheduling error - mistakes happen, and Mauricio took responsibility for it and immediately did what he could do make it right, which worked out for us. I appreciate that, and in the end, the works speaks for itself, as we were very pleased with the results. Will happily hire them again in the future.
